For the record I don’t disprove of the sanctions because the war and innocent lives are more important than my entertainment for 2 hours on a Saturday, but the hypocrisy annoys me.
It is a very fair point Ben. Saudi Arabia is currently bombing Yemen to smithereens. But the governments that are telling us Putin is the New Hitler do not give a damn about that.

The government could not stop a Northern club from making it big when Chelsea still had Abramovich, TTC. ie Chelsea made it big with dirty money so why shouldn’t Newcastle? So for the government / authorities making the first club refused their owner a Northern club would not have looked good. Now Abramovich has gone Newcastle may need to watch out, a president has now been set.
