Good scoring up the top and Gladiateur , Euroalien , Hot Fuss and Chestnut all scoring over 50points
The top two scored particularly well in the last three races which were probably the hardest of the day , so well done you two
As we have seen before there is a long way to go so don’t panic with the hail mary’s yet folks.

I have managed to secure a lead in the cake race but you know what the boss is like , she is likely to sneak up with a 33/1 winner so I am not counting my chickens yet.

Any problems with the scores let me know and I will have a check for you.

And don’t forget I am playing golf in the morning so the boss is in charge so behave yourselves

Congratulations to Gladiateur for achieving first place on the podium
Well done to Yahoo and Euroalien for getting on the podium too
It proved to be a difficult day for many with over half of us achieving less than 30 points.
But, as Raymo says, it is only Day 1. As we have seen so many times before, anyone can suddenly zoom up the leaderboard.

On the cake front, I resisted the temptation to help myself this afternoon, but I might well take advantage of Raymo playing golf tomorrow morning to sneak a cake from the box…

I thought I should have had 20 from Matisse and Nurburgring being 2nd but I feel bad bringing it up because you guys have done such an amazing job today running the thing and its a minor difference. And I might be wrong so apologies if I am but they are the only horses to check for me. Some cracking scores today well done to all concerned. And RTB its early days yet, you pipping me to the Aintree win when I think I got nil pois on Day 1 is still fresh in the mind. It’d be a brave one to count you out yet
