Wow, nearly as exciting as the racing itself! Congratulations Chestnut, and also Gladiateur, brilliant scores from you both, and Mickyjp snapping at their heels.
Huge thanks to Raymo and MrsRaymo for the superbly run competition, as always.

Well, I had prepared an image of three people on a podium and added the names of the top three.
Silly me, I thought it would be a case of simply pasting the picture into my post, but it seems not. 
If anyone knows how to add an image on here, please enlighten me and maybe I could do that at the end of the next competition. Anyway, thank you to the top three for giving us such an exciting afternoon. I was biting my nails wondering who would emerge triumphant.
Congratulations to Chestnut for a fantastic final day score (and top scorer today to boot!)
Commiserations to Gladiateur for a well-fought battle, but well done all the same for coming in second
And finally a well-deserved pat on the back to Mickeyjp for achieving third place.We hope you have all enjoyed the week and got some fun out of entering the competition. We have certainly enjoyed it. A final note: looks like the cakes are going to be on Raymo’s plate tonight!!!

Huge commiseration to Gladiateur, it was so close to being a tie. That was some daily score from you on Friday.

I’ve never been involved with such an interactive competition before, since I’ve always just been an ante post nail the price and ew conditions kind of guy. A whole different raft of considerations involved here, and a lot of fun!

I was away in Zante while it took place, which with the 2 hour time difference made it tricky to keep up, but kept me interested until the last.

Mickeyjp also played a blinder in what to me was the most difficult, but exciting, 5 days of racing I have ever
known.Big thanks as usual to Raymo and Tracey who really make these competitions so interesting by posting up
their thoughts on the leaderboard as the day progresses.
I didn’t trouble them much this year but not for want of trying the horses just weren’t firing for me.
Also thank you to David for putting up the £25 prize for the winner.Well done to all who played it’s been a brilliant week of top class racing and I this year Ascot showcased itself so well with top facilities for the horses especially for cooling down in the hot weather.
