October 2, 2009 at 22:45 #251331Just a warning to all Sea The Stars fans – seems I could stop just about anything at the moment – having had doubts most of the year I am with him this time. It looks a very ordinary renewal and as the odds suggest unless he meets trouble in running he really should win again.
October 3, 2009 at 01:07 #251353There’s a possibility i’ll have egg on chin 4pm Sunday, but racing is all about opinions – and mine is that the non-staying accusations against (Derby-winning) Sea The Stars are absolute drivel, and Sundays Arc is a penalty kick. And i don’t say that lightly.
October 3, 2009 at 02:28 #251381In Paris now, got a cracking hotel near Longchamp, south west of the centre. Will give u going updates and weather reports tomorrow and Sunday. Dry at the mo, similar to UK autumn weather.
October 3, 2009 at 03:55 #251391Really got to feel sorry for Lemaire who misses out on Stacelita with a broken collarbone, Stacelita is without a jockey.
October 3, 2009 at 04:20 #251392Franck Blondel will ride Stacelita I think.
October 3, 2009 at 15:58 #251473Soumillion wants the ride on Stacelita and is currently undergoing medical tests to enable him to ride tomorrow.
October 3, 2009 at 16:29 #251479I’m not a man of stats, but i heard earlier on C4 that none of the last 6 odds on favourites have won, and the last at odds to win was back in something like 1975.
I kinda took a risk on the ground not being good enough for STS to even run, so i’m with my earlier gambles of Stacelita, Conduit and F&G.
It will be a cracker !
October 3, 2009 at 16:59 #251485Soumillion does ride Stacelita.
October 3, 2009 at 17:23 #251492Great weather here at Longchamp today, bright and sunny and warm.

3rd Vision D’EtatOctober 4, 2009 at 00:16 #2515571st Youmzain
2nd Sea The Stars
3rd Dar Re Mi
4th ConduitOctober 4, 2009 at 00:28 #251563It looks a very ordinary renewal

Unreal. Some people are just never satisfied. There must be, what, nine/ten Group 1 winners in this year’s contest?
October 4, 2009 at 01:07 #2515701st.Stacelita
2nd.Fame And Glory
3rd.ConduitI think while STS is the best horse in the race. Not being given a break like the other faniced horses will come back to haunt them
October 4, 2009 at 01:35 #251574Racing needs genuine big stars, and that’s what Sea the Stars is, hence lets cheer for an Oxx win
