Not too many complaints from me about the racing this week, other than being backshift, and trying to catch it on my phone. Not easy. I’ve really enjoyed it this year, in fact I enjoy it more every year, but so far, it’s certainly not pocket talk lol.
Todays selections, and those ew’s will be to six places.
1620 The Wests Awake ew 25’s
1620 Conrad Hastings ew 33’s
1620 Tombstone win 14’s
1655 Slowmotion win 6’s
1840 Top Wood win 7’s
1910 Riders On The Storm win 8’s
1910 Causey Arch win 16’s
1945 Lone Wolf win 6’sApril 27, 2018 at 16:07 #1352184Min not running as I expected.
April 27, 2018 at 16:11 #1352187Up for Review and A Rated for me in the next.
April 27, 2018 at 16:15 #1352188Really fancy Bel Ami De Sivola here at 7/1
Massive horse. Big stride. High cruising speed. The step up in trip should suit him too I think. Could be the proverbial group horse in a handicap here.
April 27, 2018 at 16:31 #1352190We got the place money and a good run anyway MoM!
April 27, 2018 at 16:38 #1352191Went for La Bella Vida 16s EW in the mares. She has done well this season.
April 27, 2018 at 17:23 #1352193Oi oi Magic Of Light get up that Hill ya good ting
Bloody brillaint week after a terrible Aintree and below par Cheltenham
April 27, 2018 at 17:25 #1352194She got back up really well! Nice one
April 27, 2018 at 17:30 #1352195Moment of truth for Samcro. I wasn’t impressed enough at Cheltenham to back him for today at odds on. Melon 3/1 looks a better value play.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 27, 2018 at 17:36 #1352196We really didn’t need this kind of outcome. I hope both are okay.
As already stated one race too many!!!!!
April 27, 2018 at 17:36 #1352197Well well. Hope everyone OK. Well done Supasundae.
April 27, 2018 at 17:37 #1352198Gutted.
Was worth an absolute fortune in multiples to me with three at Sandown.
He was cruising too.
April 27, 2018 at 17:37 #1352200Bookies benefit and very unsatisfactory with the first two in the betting coming to grief at the same flight. Hard to call who would have won it for me, so we wait to find out how good Samcro is. He was going easier at one stage but Melon was coming to lay down his challenge.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 27, 2018 at 17:42 #1352201I assume he got up ok ….
April 27, 2018 at 17:44 #1352204Ruby this is samcros 5th run since last april and it is also melons 5th run since last april. That is not too many races. It is an average of one run every 73 days. Which is most definitely not too many runs
April 27, 2018 at 17:45 #1352205Dessie only said that both horses are up. This doesn’t mean much if you look back at other races.
April 27, 2018 at 17:47 #1352206I’m referring to the future of both horses. Of course they aren’t overraced, but this wasn’t a target at all for Samcro. It was just trying to help Gordon Elliott gain some prize-money. I don’t think it was worth it….
