The “Punchestown” thread is usually popular, and Jack’s Leapordstown one was also decent.

Few entries starting to come out for the supporting races….

Whole host of superstars in there, and in The Herald Hurdle, there’s a potential clash between Samcro and Laurina. I think Pallasator is an interesting one.

In The Champion Chase, I’ll no doubt side with Ordinary World again, but would be great to see a big run from Great Field.

The Growise Champion Novice Chase looks a cracker, and Coo Star Sivola, and Fagan jump right off the page. With Elegant Escape in there, fingers crossed that Potato pops in with contributions.

Plenty of the entries are out now, and the first one to jump out at me is the 50’s for Ordinary World in The Champion Chase. He’s shaped well at Leapordstown and Cheltenham, and clouted them close home.

No chance in hell he’d have got near Altior, but he would pushed Min close, and just the way he travelled into contention at Cheltenham suggests to me that he can make the frame here, and he should take this in.

    Ordinary World EW 50’s

I see min has appeared in the betting for the champion hurdle, a must win race for mullins and i cant see ricci complaining, he would surely walk it if performing near his best… can he be supplemented?

Coquin mans 12/1 For the champion hurdle my first dart, form ties in nicely with melon giving him weight, hes quoted in the stayers at 11/2ish, so that looks like a more likely target. But given how weak this division is, a reproduction of that race with melon at the start of the season off levels would see him go close in this poor renewal(if min isnt running) quite like the look of this horse in general, ill be keeping a close eye on his targets next season when/if he goes chasing, he will likely be a very early jlt bet for me.

I still can’t quite get my head around the idea of Pallasator hurdling but he seems to have taken to it very well!

Yeah, really impressive last two runs Moe, and also beat Tiger Roll in the autumn, in a charity race. Rock Solid form lol

I’m wanting to say “no” to being supplemented, but can’t be 100%. Very promising horse that, I know Greenasgrass is a fan. Nice price that 12’s if he does go.

    Ham and VTC

Min’s entered already in the race so that’ll be why he’s in the market!

Like i said voleur i dont think ricci would complain about walking a grade 1 and i also think that ricci and mullins, would be fully under the belief that hed have the beating of BVD judging by his CH effort, makes alot of sense for him to come back hurdling…

This is a MUST win race for mullins, 5/2 atm, will be 4/5 on the day

There are some nice looking races next week, and I hope that Miles to Memphis gets an entry.

The one bet that tempts me just now is Jury Duty at 12-1 in The Growise Chase

Used to follow the Curtis yard, and had some joy from her at Punchestown. With a possible return to form, with Joe Farrell winning, I’ll keep an eye on her one entry, Geordie Des Chanps.

Douvan vs Min vs Un des Sceaux in tuesday’ Champion Chase. That’s a cracker.

Don’t normally get too excited about the G1 2 Mile Scene, but have to agree with you DBRDBR, it is an absolute cracker of a line up, and should be some race.

Certainly makes me less than excited about my Ordinary World bet lol

I read somewhere that Great Field may take on Altior next Saturday. Promises to be a cracker if true.

Sharjah & Jury Duty two I thought looked too big at 20s.

Champion Chase at the face of it looks good but Min has had two hard races and UDS isn’t the horse he was, Douvan should win well.

Played Killultagh Vic last night also at 10s. It’s a big if but If he can jump around fine he has to go close. Will like the track, trip and ground.
