Yes Jack, he was even shown on German tv. Only downside with the snooker boom is that pool pros hardly can survive due to poor prize money, but you know that better than me; I only am a hobby player..
To the race we are waiting for Haggas giving green light, but it may come in the near future
May 15, 2019 at 19:00 #1438031Enable will now be targeted at royal ascot for her return
Either this or the hardwicke
Hope she runs as itll mean a better price for sea of class on the day
May 15, 2019 at 21:15 #1438045I would see it as a mistake from Gosden to run her here,
because only Sea of Class would benefit from the 10f imo.
If he likes he can come here, I wouldn’t be afraid
May 18, 2019 at 14:33 #1439393Stoute saying this is the preference for Crystal Ocean.
Think he’d be a shoo in for the Hardwicke and 12f would suit him better. It’s one thing beating Laarib over 10f but Sea Of Class is a much different propositionGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
May 18, 2019 at 23:03 #1439671Agreed Nathan ..Crystal Ocean won’t beat Sea of Class but Sir Michael seems to be looking for a Group 1 option for him next so may not go the Hardwicke route.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 22, 2019 at 22:17 #1440152Regal Reality runs in The Brigadier Gerard tomorrow night at Sandown, and I’m hoping to see a marked improvement on his recent runs.
Tomorrow’s meeting at Sandown is one of my favourite meetings of the year, and seeing Regal Reality again will be a bonus. I’ve already mentioned him on the Queen Anne thread, but the same sentiment apply here.
I’ve followed him since seeing him at Yarmouth, and retain some hope that he can finally deliver. I don’t bet very big, let alone when they have multiple entries, but at 33-1 I will make an exception.
May 29, 2019 at 17:41 #1443522“Enable to miss Royal Ascot”
No surprise to me, and another masterpiece of communication and decision making from Gosden
,
but I will stay diplomatic, otherwise Jack will be saying I am a boozer
May 29, 2019 at 20:12 #1443533No Hein, that’s not what i said, but i’ll leave it there, as we don’t need another Stevecaution moment from you
Perhaps, you should try and focus on discussing racing rather than bad mouthing people on here, and trainers constantly, it gets quite tedious.Anyway, it’s a shame the showdown couldn’t happen on both their seasonal reappearances, who’d have thought eh? 3 weeks advanced noticed from Mr. Gosden isn’t enough for some!
Anyway, i’ll stick with Magical purely on the basis she has race fitness on her side (massively) and i think she could improve provide a few shocks this year to SOC + Enable backers…
SOC probably should’ve won the Arc last year, but she didn’t in the end, and i’d imagine Enable might’ve been a little under the weather that day. Not as easy for her this year without the weight allowances.
I’d be very keen to take her on here + if Waldgeist was to show up as well, i’d probably back him too.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!May 29, 2019 at 23:51 #1443543Oh no Jack, this is not what I said.
I honestly criticized JG’s communication policy, as I found and still find he makes a confused impression and his statements are lacking a clear concept and are just not helpful to say the least.
If you are not willing or able to see this feel free, and I agree we should leave it there! And I am indeed here to discuss and enjoy racing and I will go on to do so.
Whom I played here I had already confessed, Sea Of Class is the class act in here, and she will benefit from the drop back to 10f to unleash her speed. It all comes down to James Doyle, that he optimizes his timing a bit and lets her loose in the right moment
Then I don’t see any real rival, as Magical is just a good and quite reliable girl, but nothing more.May 30, 2019 at 09:07 #1443565Ok Hein, i presume you don’t follow jump racing, because if you did, you’d be have your own complain thread on trainers. Just a note, AOB has left his army in the Derby, yet so will possibly be NRs at a late stage. That is much worse from a communication perspective that anything JG does. I don’t see a lot from you on him or any other trainers; so i am going to guess you just don’t like Johnny boy!
Sea of Class is the one with the most potential to improve and become a superstar given her unexposed profile, but Magical is more than “quite a reliable girl” in my opinion Hein. She’s rated the exact same as SOC, and ran Enable very close as well. Perhaps not “unlucky” like SOC was.
While SOC has the potential to improve, she also has to prove she has trained on. She’s been mentioned as quite quirky so i’d like to see her run personally before knowing how much improvement she has under the bonnet.
Has the makings of a cracker with Masar possibly reappearing here too and others like Waldgeist!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!May 30, 2019 at 09:35 #1443566Going to be a fab race. I know Magical had it her own way at the Curragh and nobody tricky to beat but still, she was beautiful to watch.
Really hope the gorgeous Sea of Class is fit, ready, trained on and gets a smooth run and all the others do too.
May 30, 2019 at 10:58 #1443573No again Jack.
It is not a thing of “nose factor” that I don’t like JG or something, I would just wish a clearer strategy, race planning and particularly communication from him and that he at least reduces his confused statements.
That you say I haven’t criticized AOB seems quite odd, as I did this here intensively, if you are keen you can go through the threads and you can find it, or ask some of the protagonists here, they already know.
Sure, regarding the horses we have a completely different opinion as always Jack, but for me this is a good sign
May 31, 2019 at 13:35 #1443733Hein, i don’t have the desire to go through threads looking for your past posts- I am not going to continue explaining this, but i’ll just have to learn to ignore your constant Gosden obsession!
We don’t have that different an opinion on Sea Of Class if you read what i’ve said again. I just don’t subscribe to backing her at that price.

Speaking words of wisdom, let it be..June 5, 2019 at 11:15 #1444665I see that Regal Reality has been taken out of The Queen Anne, so it looks like this is the intended target now, well at least I hope that it is.
June 11, 2019 at 11:42 #1445026If I remember rightly, Stoutey said after Sandown that he did not see Regal Reality as a Royal Ascot type, Kris. Probably because he can get upset in the prelims. Sweated up and needed a jacket put over his eyes to get to post last time out. Bad experience in the atmosphere of Royal Ascot could set the horse back.
Value Is EverythingJune 11, 2019 at 11:53 #1445028Will sea of class run on soft ground?
Most of her runs have been on good to firm
