Missed Kilbarry Way yesterday!
2 pts Sharjah 10/3 to burst Samcro’s bubble this afternoon.November 2, 2018 at 22:22 #1379419
Bedrock did the bubble bursting! Samcro the best looking of them though, gorgeous horse. Gordon Elliott nodded and said hello in passing to my wee daughter and me when he was following Samcro along the walkway from the parade ring onto the course and saw us watching from the side. He obviously had other things on his mind and was in a hurry to keep up with the horse so I thought that was pretty sound of him.
We saw Willie Mullins (who really does tip his hat to everyone!) and Ted Walsh (in the open top free grandstand with us plebs) as well.
Going back tomorrow though it’s gonna rain. At least I have my husband and sister coming too to help entertain the junior racegoer
2pts on Don Poli at 25s for the JNwine as it’s been tipping it down all evening here.
Proper weekend’s racing!! Good luck everyone.November 2, 2018 at 22:37 #1379425
3.00 Ascot Divin Bere
2pts win 11/2
Assuming he can resume progress after wind opNovember 3, 2018 at 22:07 #1379646
Got to bet Robin des Foret again, even giving weight away
2.10 Cork Robin des Foret
5pts win 11/8 PPNovember 4, 2018 at 10:57 #1379666
I’m having a small win bet on Young Turk in that race, even though I think Robin should win. I was impressed last time.
Good luckNovember 4, 2018 at 18:13 #1379705
Hard luck on us both!! Glad to see they both got up, hope my lad’s neck and your boy’s back end are alright. Two decent horses as are the winner and Clara Sorrento. Improvement to be had all round..you could tell it was a novices’ chase. I still love RdF- think he just went to come up then changed his mind then changed it back. Just a novice mistake. Will keep following him. 3 miles might be better to give him time to think but perhaps they are aiming to sharpen his fencing with the 2.5.November 4, 2018 at 23:39 #1379745
They both came back, that’s the main thing.
Still haven’t seen it, but sounds as if Turk was held when he fell.November 10, 2018 at 12:03 #1380182
Not convinced Agrapart necessarily has to have soft ground.
2.10 Ain Agrapart
9-1 Paddy P 1 pt winNovember 17, 2018 at 11:16 #1380728
Just on West Approach for the BetVictor
1pt EW 16s
Wanted to add another but nothing jumped out at meDecember 2, 2018 at 11:44 #1387836
No bets for me yesterday (sulking, cos Up For Review didn’t run, and also working so didn’t see the racing)
But have a couple of bets for interest today
I was rather taken with Aramon
on his runs so far and have 1pt win on him at 5-1 for the Royal Bond
Blazer didn’t get harshly treated for his Galway 2nd. 20s in the handicap hurdle is worth an interest. Tombstone might be ticking over for something else but 33s was too tempting for him.
0.5 pt EW on bothDecember 2, 2018 at 13:51 #1387848
Good luck with Blazer.
Wasn’t going to bother much today, but just cracked in The Drinmore. I’m definitely with Blazer.December 22, 2018 at 12:15 #1389979
Good job my bets are small
Just have 0.5pt win at 5-1 on Agrapart for the Long Walk and 2pts win at 9-4 on Stay Humble in 3.10 at Thurles today.January 24, 2019 at 13:37 #1393442
Ruby rarely gets on the wrong one and I like Coquin Mans but all the same, I’m going with Bapaume for the Galmoy.
1.50 Gowran Bapaume
15/2 b365 1pt EW
