PMSL, almost literally
Old as he appears, that is uncannily near to how I actually look in real life. My hair is not quite do unkempt or stretched quite so wide.
Strange things go on behind four walls. When I woke up this morning I found I had somehow blown a hole in my underpants. It puzzled and amused me so much, it made the morning quite special.
Thinking about this over a late cup of tea I realised there must be a natural explanation – for the life of me though I could not think what on earth had caused this to happen. I have a shortage of underpants just now ( too busy to go to the shops, and they are never an easy buy ) and then it came to me – one day last week and on a tight schedule, I had been forced to use the iron, as I was found wanting of a fresh pair. Unused to ironing – I managed to scorch the back of them, quite severely, and this must have weakened the thread. They were not in the first fling of youth either.
Never have been a great believer in conspiracies and I was rather pleased to find out I was still on the mettle. 🧐
