Thsnks though I only actually got 14s, he was 33s before final decs and I thought ah sure it’ll hold, nothing I back ever shortens…
But pleased with the win. He’s a good stayer with a light weight, just glad he stayed up!!
Is Happy Diva OK?November 14, 2020 at 14:32 #1510688well done to all who had the winner, that turned out to be a right old slog
November 14, 2020 at 14:35 #1510689Amazing calls Greenasgrass. Wd
November 14, 2020 at 14:36 #1510690Well done Grass, any price is a good price when they win

Saint Sonnet was disappointing but Kauto Riko charged up the hill for place money at 66/1. Was outpaced early so he must be worth another go at 3 miles.
November 14, 2020 at 14:41 #1510691Just saw Kauto Riko on the replay TYT, monster ew and he came flying up the hill.
My one to watch is Siruh du Lac, he had a whale of a time and jumped brilliantly loose, will definitely back him in March.November 14, 2020 at 14:45 #1510693Guys where would you go next with Kauto ….surely screaming for a proper test
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 14, 2020 at 14:56 #1510695Just looked back at the form. His second in the Peterborough was his first run in a tongue tie and today was first after wind surgery. I think I’d mind his wind carefully over the winter and try to pick decent ground, then aim him at the Topham.
November 14, 2020 at 15:06 #1510696GG you not think he likes getting his foot in
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 14, 2020 at 15:21 #1510697Yeah i’d be careful not to overdo it with him as his best form is when he’s a fresh horse. I’d give him another run in a similar race to today before Christmas, something like the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup, then freshen him up for a punt at the Ultima come March.
November 14, 2020 at 15:23 #1510698Hmm I suppose so. And his siblings put up their best performaces with plenty of dig though the French describe everything as vsoft it seems. I dunno, he might like soft but it might not like him…
Interesting anyhow.November 14, 2020 at 15:56 #1510703Its a shame for the contest that Siruh Du Lac fell at the first, from there the winner has been able to dictate his own terms on the front end and hasn’t had as much pressure as might have been expected on his jumping, over fences they have not been coming back today from the front. Not wanting to detract from him too much and well done anyone who backed him but I suspect he’ll go off close to favourite for the Caspian Caviar, I’d be avoiding him he’s very hard fit today having his fourth run since August and I think that coupled with the easy lead he got could and the inevitable surge up the weights will find him out if he goes there. The second is a standing dish in these sort of races and without wanting to be too harsh on him is one who’s attitude and will to get up that hill has to come under scrutiny now, he’s clearly handicapped to win one of these but I wouldn’t bank on him doing it anytime soon.
November 14, 2020 at 17:20 #1510715Well done Greenasgrass! Nice price
Happy with Kauto Riko as well. Mister Fisher was disappointing, ground too soft? I also thought that Kauto Riko was done, but he came storming up the hill.
November 14, 2020 at 20:39 #1510720Is it just me or does Mr Fisher look like a horse that prefers smaller fields ? , not convinced he likes to be in a hussle , I wouldn’t be to hard on any horse in the race to be honest , a right proper slog today
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 14, 2020 at 21:58 #1510727He just never travelled today
Id suspect a flat track and good ground will see him to best advantage as he has plenty of pace
I’m surprised he didn’t drift once the rain came
I wouldve cashed my bet out but paddy removed the option once final decs came through on Thursday
