Took 7/1 against Infinite Cosmos. Will find out later this afternoon if it was a good idea or not.

I’d say Infinite Cosmos can only win the Oaks if she wins the Musidora.

Given that, I wonder if backing her for the Musidora then putting the entire return on her for the Oaks if she wins would net out at better than 7/1?

Plus if she scrambles home you have the option to take the money from today and run.

Almost definitely would as even if she goes 2/1 you are better off

Say you take the 3.25 off betfair for today and she wins and goes 3/1 your getting 12/1

I’d say she’d be unlikely to even run If she gets beat today, stoute will probably take the patient route

    Running Lion – 10/1
Would love to see this daughter of Roaring Lion win this. She has done nothing but improve in each of her races culminating with an impressive win at Newmarket in the Pretty Polly. :rose:

I will believe ill-fated Roaring Lion can sire an Epsom Classic winner if I ever see it (sadly I won’t get many chances).

Hugely-likeable racehorse, but a non-stayer at 1m4f himself for me and there will need to be plenty of stamina on the dam side for it to happen IMO.

I’m not entirely sure that’s the clear case here – though I suppose 2m AW-winning half brother Cozone offers hope!

I can see running lion going to France now they have soul sister

They were debating it anyway but this makes it more likely

Frankie will no doubt be arguing for it, it’ll give him a top chance in both races

Unless Murphy keeps the ride on running lion that is

Interesting Ian and FF..I’ll hold back on any AP bets on Running Lion at the moment. Agree about Frankie pushing to ride Soul Sister in The Oaks..He’s out to win every Gp.1 on the planet at the moment.

Running Lion owned by D P Howden who sponsored every race bar the big one on 1000 Guineas Day. I think they are fairly new owners so may stay loyal to Oisin Murphy considering he won their sponsored race that day.

Running Lion also holds a Ribblesdale entry so she has plenty of options. :good: Jac
