Looking possible Lets Dance is heading for this race. With the allowance it will take a good one to beat her. The bonus 50,000 for the stable staff applies to any race run at Cheltenham i believe.

Do you have a source for that? There was moments on the exchange earlier that suggested she was moving out of The Mares Novice and Airlie Beach closed into 5/2 from 9/2 on PP. Hope it’s true. She will give Neon Wolf a run for his money. On her at 33/1; it’s only a fiver each way but still it would represent great value. She’s rated 142 in England so with the allowance she is right up there with Neon Wolf. She was rated at 147 in Ireland..

I was told that lets dance was likely stepping up, they never confirmed this race though, so i wouldnt assume stepping up means here totally, its the obvious answer but it wasnt the exact answer i was given
I would say that what i got was they where growing more into the idea that she moves race rather than the decision already being made, so i dont imagine theyll be much more movement in the markets as a guide, the next exchange moves will likely be the confirmation
60/40 stays MN/steps up
March 7, 2017 at 21:43 #1290417To step up she really only has 3 choices; Neptune, Albert Bartlet or Mares Hurdle. Vroom Vroom and Limini in contention for Mares Hurdle so unlikely Ricci will want her there. Mullins has a bunker load of horses for Albert Bartlet; Penhill, Augusta Kate, Kemboy, Best jersey. He only really have Bacardys and Saturnas for The Neptune and Saturnas is doubtful. The Albert Bartlet is a tough race also where she would have to contend with Death Duty, Monalee, Wholestone, West Approach and Augusta Kate. Assuming she’s the pick of the Mullins Neptune horses hen she really only has to contend with Neon Wolf, Finians Oscar and Willoughby Court. Neptune definitely makes the most sense.
March 7, 2017 at 22:39 #1290421Neptune is the obvious race, all i mean is in the info i got a step up to what was not specified
For all we know VVM still isnt sparking, so lets dance is going to the mares rather than mares novice, its entirely possible

Yes, that is possible but shed need to find another half a stone at the very least. If Vroom Vroom doesn’t go then Id say it will be Limini to the Mares and Ruby will be on Footpad in the Champion Hurdle

March 11, 2017 at 12:01 #1291058Finians Oscar out now. Disappointing
March 11, 2017 at 12:24 #1291066Finian’s Oscar has a bruised foot and it is something the Tizzard’s said would not have been a problem had it happened further away from the meeting.
I’m gutted, as he was one of my bigger bets and I had him in a speculative roll up as well.
That’s my fourth horse out due to late injuries this year. I hope my luck changes at the meeting itself.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

The win bet at 6/1 was all in, that was placed ages ago, the e/w at 5/1 was non-runner no bet but my roll up at bigger odds on all 4 selections was placed way back and is lost without a horse running. That’s the risk with the bigger odds ante-post and it’s not much money I had on it.
The frustrating thing will be if the other three win. I’ll just have to settle for watching Altior at desperate odds now.
I feel for Colin Tizzard, who was flying high earlier this year but has now been kicked in both bollocks with Thistlecrack and Finian’s Oscar. That’s harsh by any standards.

The word ‘Virus’ has been mentioned at the Tizzard stable and my 2 big guns West Approach and Cue Card had better not be next out Steve.Bloody sickener when we are getting this close.
March 11, 2017 at 12:59 #1291087The only horse I feared for this was ‘Finians Oscar’,he should have been fav imo so to see 10/1 nrnb Bet365 about Messire des Obeaux in his absence is Xmas to me.If there is one horse who has been over-priced all year its this fellow so in we go again.
March 11, 2017 at 13:20 #1291098I think Willoughby Court is going under the radar here. Backed at 16’s and 14’s and half tempted to go in again.
March 11, 2017 at 14:13 #1291112Think I might lump on Neon Wolf now. Same connections just had a winner over same trip which charged up the hill and I can see this one doing a similar demolition on what is now looking like a weak field
