March 10, 2026 at 17:50 #1758162Holloway Queen was blue across the board on oddschecker before the race. I couldn’t watch the race ( W Hill weren’t showing it). I think King of Answers didn’t get a good start and made a mistake early on? He’s my favourite horse in training at the moment so maybe it’s a good job I only got to listen to the race on racing radio.
March 10, 2026 at 18:16 #1758178He did Moe but Derek sat to long , he travelled so well though should have been asking earlier , don’t give up on him though , he’s a talented horse
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

March 10, 2026 at 18:21 #1758180Reminder to take what a trainer says sbout the ground and horse preferences with a large pinch of salt. From Hendersons Unibet Blog regards todays winner:
Ground is also quite crucial to her, but the other way round, because she is a much, much better horse on soft. She’s a big bold, front running mare who jumps well and has plenty of ability.
She was very good at Newbury where she never stopped galloping and appeared to really enjoy herself out front, although whether she will be able to employ those tactics in a race at the Cheltenham Festival is another matter because everyone will be wanting to get a good position and there no one takes any prisoners!
We will be monitoring the ground, however, because it might not be the best idea to run her if conditions aren’t suitable for her at this stage of her life, but we’ll see.
