The much maligned aidan said all along he thought he was going to france. Eclipse after that i would have thought. He runs very similar to st marks basilica. That was an electic change of pace at chester. Im sure ryan would have told aidan french derby then eclipse.

May 29, 2026 at 16:01 #1767503Pierre Bonnard has got less chance of handling Epsom’s undulations than I have of handling Sam Fox’s boobs.
However, this year’s field is so poor that he could fail to handle the course and still overhaul them in the last furlong.
May 29, 2026 at 16:04 #1767504The 16’s was too big Gladders
likewise the 20’s Charles Darwin for the Commonwealth
Bet365 still go 20’s CD and 8’s Pierre… Nice Double that, nearly as big as Sam Fox’s… purseGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
May 29, 2026 at 16:22 #1767505Agree that the 16s was too big, Nathan, as I don’t think that this is a particularly strong renewal.
But if Pierre wins – which he might – it’ll be a last-minute job.
I don’t bet in-running (the exchanges have ruined racing), but he’d be one to back at long odds when he’s struggling turning into the straight.
May 29, 2026 at 16:31 #1767506Not sure I agree with the poor field argument with a horse like Benvenuto Cellini in there. However, he has looked a decent ground horse and if the current rain forecast i’ve seen materialises, thus turning the ground soft, then his winning chance lessens and enhances the chance of a horse like Pierre Bonnard who has winning form on soft.
May 29, 2026 at 17:44 #1767514Since I understand Sam Fox is gay, that would certainly put Pierre Bonnard’s chances of handling the slope as miniscule…
May 29, 2026 at 17:56 #1767516That was the point. 😎
May 29, 2026 at 18:23 #1767518I think there are two points at issue here.
June 1, 2026 at 17:42 #1767715Not sure if already mentioned but thought I’d just applaud those who have set up the two days of Epsom this year.
Taking away that awful set up of two 5f races then a break to the Derby so we had 2 minutes worth of racing in almost 2 hours was an obvious move to make but it still needed some pazaz.
Looks a pretty exciting two days of racing so far, hopefully there aren’t too many defections. ok bye.June 1, 2026 at 20:28 #1767727Benvenuto Cellini

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
June 1, 2026 at 20:58 #1767730Not lost faith in action. If hes not used for pacemaking and runs on its merits will be on the premises imho. Also p bonnard. Hes been crying out for this distance and will be finishing strongly.
June 2, 2026 at 08:53 #1767747Poker don’t look worst 200 to 1 shot ever , last race was half decent 4 runner over the trip so will stay , Wooten Basset sired two Derby winners last weekend so has right sire . , Iam going to have a few coins win , T4 . Not greatest Derby field .
Must think something of him if they pay up , they won’t want to embarrass themselves , unless he is a 4 million guinea pacemaker for other Ano runner .June 2, 2026 at 20:01 #1767770Hoping for a double figure field for this. My GF works with a close friend of Mrs J Wood who owns ALDERMAN among others (Classic, Boyfriend) and they think he’s no back marker. Beaten by Water To Wine last time over 11f, staying on. That one was scratched for the Chester Vase but was prominent in the betting and has hacked up since at 1/12.
Currently 250/1. Waiting for a decent place market of Top 6-7-8 that some firms offer. Will update with an actual bet.June 3, 2026 at 11:37 #1767794I see they have upped the budget for the draw
Not outside wetherspoons this year… 😅Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
