Run Wild Fred only needs to get round to win. ;o)
January 2, 2022 at 13:23 #1576186He needs to turn up first, Mike. Not a race Gigginstown like a runner in.
January 2, 2022 at 13:47 #1576191*cough* Tiger Roll *cough*
January 2, 2022 at 16:13 #1576234Didn’t say they hadn’t run one *cough*
January 5, 2022 at 21:07 #1576671I’ve went with Dickie Diver 33-1 ew, but Run Wild Fred looks hard to beat
January 24, 2022 at 23:21 #1579772Been holding back with any more Cheltenham bets, but had a small early go on Stratum here. Also holds an entry for The Brown Advisory, but I think this is more suitable.
Can’t be a big bet, as I’d rather bet him NRNB for both races, but just wanted to get a wee bit of 25’s.
I actually see him as a possible Irish National contender, but considering he’s a notebook horse of mine from years back, and the fact I’ve messed up with him more than once, I wanted on early for a change.
I really hope now that En Beton doesn’t go here.
Jungle Boogie 25’s
Stattler 33’s
Stratum 25’sJanuary 30, 2022 at 12:49 #1580653Good performance by Stattler in the opener at Naas just now.
Disappointing from En Beton- dropped out very quickly.
January 30, 2022 at 13:02 #1580656How come they withdrew Run Wild Fred today?
January 30, 2022 at 13:47 #1580665“How come they withdrew Run Wild Fred today?”
Temperature. Aka lets use Farouk as a measure on how to win the NH Chase with RWF. ;o)
January 30, 2022 at 13:51 #1580667Haha that doesn’t surprise me, the price of Run Wild Fred for this race speaks volumes, they must have piled on lol.
January 30, 2022 at 13:57 #1580668Stattler is the wrong favourite imo. Only 2 chases whereas RWF has plenty, and not a guaranteed stayer whereas with RWF it’s guaranteed.
January 30, 2022 at 14:02 #1580670Yeah I agree mate I’d rather back the Elliot horse at the prices for sure
January 31, 2022 at 16:59 #1580787Pats Fancy 20/1.
His form this season has been bosted by both Gericault Roque & Imperial Alcazar and he looks a proper stayer.Stattler is much, much classier but his jumping wasn’t great yesterday and I’m still not sure he’ll stay. Wouldn’t be convinced RWF will run either.
February 2, 2022 at 18:53 #1581050Elliott quote on RWF…
“The thought at the minute is that he won’t run this weekend and will go straight to the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.”
February 2, 2022 at 20:01 #1581063He will take plenty of beating mike
Stays all day, a very professional jumper and will have the best amateur on his back in a race that Gordon elliot has a tremendous record in
Going to have to look to get him onside in a double
The less said about my very early fancy the bosses Oscar the better hahaha
February 6, 2022 at 11:29 #1581693As the yard doesn’t normally send a horse to Cheltenham I’ve had a bit of e.w about Doyen Breed , he was put in his place by threeunderthrufive last time but I reckon Cheltenham might be right up his Street ( likes a stiff finish ) 25s big enough to have a tickle
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 6, 2022 at 13:24 #1581724Surprised olly Murphy hasn’t taken the chance to stock the wolf in this. He likes the track, yesterdays Edinburgh national confirmed he stayed and his jumping was much better also.
Does he qualify to run?
