Ontheropes ran the right sorta race today with a view to this.
November 27, 2021 at 17:25 #1569454Id agree with that Mike
Not got the class for the old RSA
He did well really to finish 4th as he made a mistake early and ended up last
November 27, 2021 at 18:45 #1569463He,ll not get soft enough ground though , he,s a slow boat and I’d say the Irish national would be right up his Street
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 27, 2021 at 18:59 #1569468He might not get soft ground in the Irish National either. At least in this he will be up against fellow novices over the longer trip.
November 27, 2021 at 19:05 #1569470More likely though Mike , he was badly outpaced today early on , fair enough he,s a young horse but at 7 he,s very one paced , I said earlier I thought he,d struggle and ran as well as expected , the other negative it would prob be his first time at Cheltenham and you just don’t know how he,ll handle it
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 10, 2021 at 18:04 #1571706Added Gars De Sceaux before his race tomorrow. Hopefully he and Stattler can have a good introduction to fences. Cashed out
Definitely wanted another here. Missed Ontheropes after putting him up when he was 25’s, cashed out Grand Paradis, and I’d be surprised if I see Pure Genius again this season.
Pure Genius 100’s EW
Stattler 33’s
December 27, 2021 at 15:13 #1574856Cashed out TBO.
December 29, 2021 at 13:56 #1575357I’m glad RWF didn’t win the grade 1 today.
December 31, 2021 at 14:13 #1575715G, you’ll be pleased to see Jungle Boogie entered in a beginners Chase tomorrow. I agree with you on him, and think he’s a very interesting sort for this, and actually tempted by him myself.
Tidy race at Fairyhouse, and Grand Paradis, who I had initially bet for this, also lines up. I still reckon he’ll win big races, but he’s maybe one for something like The Kim Muir.
One horse who is well on the radar now is
En Beton. I was looking forward to seeing him back out today, and he surpassed my expectations. Paddy Power go 12’s for this, and as much as I can’t argue with that, I was still looking for bigger. Really impressed, and could equally be a candidate for Brown Advisory. I’ll leave for now.December 31, 2021 at 14:33 #1575726Looking forward to seeing Jungle Boogie strut his stuff tomorrow, VTC; like you, quite taken by En Beton today he certainly looks one to follow. Had Egality Mans beaten when that one came down, I think.
How many will Willie run here? Stattler, Jungle Boogie, En Beton… Did I hear someone say “combination forecast”? 🤔
December 31, 2021 at 14:35 #1575727Yup, you heard me say it lol
Been waiting on En Beton for a while now, and agree, he had the fav well held today before the fall.
December 31, 2021 at 14:37 #1575729Pity it isn’t a tricast race! 😂
January 1, 2022 at 15:26 #1576008Smashing that G. Skybet currently holding the 25’s, couldn’t let that go.
January 1, 2022 at 15:37 #1576011I wonder if he might go for the old RSA while Galopin goes for the two and a half miler? Mullins doesn’t have anything obvious for the intermediate race; could be Ferny Hollow in the Arkle, GDC in the Turners and Stattler and En Beton in the NH Chase. 🤔
January 1, 2022 at 16:07 #1576024Looked promising but he just be made of glass. I can’t see them moving horses for him, he’d go as one of a few runners in a race I’d say.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 1, 2022 at 16:10 #1576027Cashed out OTR.
January 2, 2022 at 12:45 #1576176I’ve backed Braeside at 33/1. Plenty of experience and has won over 3 and a half on heavy. He reminds me a bit of Ravenhill who won this race in 2019 for same trainer.
