Well done with Power of States Darren. :yahoo: Just caught up with those results this morning. :good:

    2.25 KEMPTON .. SHAQEEQA .. 4/1 (Enhanced) .. WIN

Originally owned by Sheikh Hamdam this Dawn Approach filly is not short of a turn of foot which she was unable to show last time out when trying to make an eyecatching run from the rear and got left short of room, she was then switched only to be hampered and would definitely have been in the shake up if not the winner last time. :good:

Today she is back to 7 furlongs (fillies and colts) and I’m hoping to see Rossa Ryan pick her up from half way and power home.

    Merry Secret (nb)
won his race nicely for Michael Appleby last time just hanging on to win. He is up 3lbs for that which could put Talking Point, the favourite that he beat (7th) a shade closer as she had no luck in running that day..for that reason have decided to chance a ..

    Combi Tricast
    Shaqeeqa
    Merry Secret
    Talking Point

Best of luck if your having a bet today. Quite a decent card at Kempton this afternoon. Jac :bye:

Oh so close for Shaqeeqa, I think Rossa Ryan had her in front for too long she would have done better taking the Merry Secret route but he had no option once he grabbed the rail but to plug on

Luckily I had a saver on Merry Secret as he had been in my pick 3 horses last Saturday Week.

Got the forecast but I did a Tricast with Talking Point as thought divi would be small with first two in betting.

Enjoyed that race and 1st and 2nd definitely have more to come.
    Notebook getting bigger.

Well done with your saver on Merry Secret Jac, and your f/c too :good:
Colour Of Light will come on for that, the Gosden filly had the
advantage of a couple of races under her belt.

I was a bit dismayed today to see that Bristol De Mai will skip
Cheltenham in favour of the National. Having to carry top weight
against 40 horses, many well treated, is going to be tough although
I’m not so much worried about that, I just wish he had been kept
to to Cheltenham, or anywhere rather than Aintree. My heart will be
in my mouth every time he’s going to a fence, probably surrounded
by horses who wouldn’t see the way he went on a normal course. I
just hope he can steer clear of trouble and come home safe.

100% with you there Graham :good: Bristol De Mai just doesn’t fit the criteria for a Grand National horse..I’m going to be worried sick now and almost hoping he’ll pick up some kind of minor inconvenience that will put him out for the season..can’t believe I’m saying that. Smacks of the owners chasing a dream but hope they come to realise that they are asking too much of this talented beautuful grey and pull him out. :rose: Jac

We have a Bonus Race tommorow Jac in the 3.40 race. I’ve put a reminder
for everyone in the Godolphin Fantasy League thread. As I said on there,
at least we got a bit of notice this time so it’s an improvement :good:

Just checking in – hope everyone is doing well. I see a few winning bets and near misses in previous posts.

It’s been so very cold and snowy here. Well into the “minus centigrade” range. We haven’t had it as bad as many here so can’t complain too much. I’m just very ready for spring. At least I have a trip to Arizona planned in March (Cheltenham Week  ) for my daughters rescheduled wedding.

I’m with you Graham & Jac – Why would you send BDM to Aintree – sounds glory seeking owners. The horse owes you nothing – hopefully they’ll come to their senses and pull him out.

Need to work on my swaps for Meydan – and the bonus race too!!

Good Luck with any bets today. Stay safe everyone!

Good luck with all those bets today Darren :good: and many thanks to Graham for highlighting the Meydan Bonus Race in our competition. :good:

At present I have one bet in the next race at Wolverhampton…

    2.15 Wolverhampton..
    THE GUVNOR ..
    6/1 (enhanced) .. EW

By Frankel out of a tough little Soviet Star mare Eva’s Request who was trained by Mick Channon and won 7/23 races the majority in Group Company.

The Guvnor is still officially a 2yo being born in May 2018 and although he didn’t set the world alight in his maiden run (5th) he was doing his best work at the finish and this longer trip will definitely suit.
Also the race he ran in was won by another Derby Entry the very useful Charlie Appleby trained..Highland Avenue

Sea The Shells the short priced favourite holds a Derby entry and is having his first start so there is a chance The Guvnor could just strip fitter with one run under his belt..fingers crossed.

Hoping to see The Guvnor in a handy position and pushed out to lead 2 furlongs from home .. looking forward to this one.

    Rev.Forecast
    The Guvnor
    Sea The Shells

🌟Frankel takes on Sea The Stars🌟
    Classic :good:

Best of luck anyone having a dabble today.. :bye:

Sea The Shells scooted away with that..well strung out behind.
I think The Guvnor around 5th again making no impression. Jac
