Bad luck Grove Hill 5th at the Curragh Graham, haven’t seen the race yet just the result, but tomorrow is another day.

Yes the Forum is playing up a little on my mobile and I quite often get the fatal error message and a few other strange blips happen when I’m on here so I wouldn’t think it’s your fault Graham. The Forum is probably not paying it’s bills or something LOL..or too many people are logging in to get their hands on your tips before the prices tumble. ;-)
Best to post up early for tomorrow just in case it goes down again, I’ll try to get my comp selections in before midnight.

Good luck with Marie’s Diamond in the Summer Mile shame he didn’t run in the July Cup where I’ve gone for my old favourite Brando EW and a nice bet on Golden Horde who I think is the right profile for this race a horse with a big engine required here.

    @Hein
I really would love you to come and visit Newmarket Hein you would love it. OK it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and some say it’s bleak and very difficult to find a winner on, but as it is my local I seem to get out of jail free most times I go to use a turn of speech B-) . At Newmarket I can honestly say that I have seen almost every Guineas/Derby winner in that paddock as a 2yo, for at least the last 15 years, before he/she goes on to Group glory. The best viewing Gallery in the whole world in my humble opinion. and of course no offence taken Hein… :rose:

Tomorrow is one of the tricky days at Newmarket so will go carefully with my main bet in the July Cup. Looking forward to seeing Pinatubo on Sunday. :good:
    Stay lucky..Jac :bye:

Thank you very much Jac, I honestly believe you that it is beautiful
and I also agree with you that it’s so damn tricky to play there, for me more like a roulette wheel  I also wish you best of luck, in the July Cup I even am involved with our German runner Namos with Will Buick but of course only a small each way peanuts bet :good:

You couldn’t get a better jockey for Namos than William Buick Hein although the horse needs to handle the course and don’t know how Newmarket compares to his local track.

Morning all, got mine on earlier this morning and hopefully have stolen a few points :good:

    1.50 Newmarket – Laser Show 20/1 Bet365

He was quite impressive winning at Maydan at the start of the year and
looked a decent prospect in his 2 races here (In UK) last year.Seemed to
lose enthusiasm in his subsequent 2 races at Maydan, but he’s been gelded
since, and I think that might just get his mind back on matters.

3.00 Newmarket – Seventh Kingdom 4/1 Paddy Power

He didn’t come out of the stalls too well, didn’t settle too well early on, got
pushed along at one point, but when the penny dropped he stretched right away
from the others. Hard not to be impressed with him and I’d expect more to come.

    3.15 Ascot – Marie’s Diamond 9/1 Paddy Power

I’ve already mentioned him, I’d hoped he would go for the July Cup but he’s gone
for the Summer Mile. He ran well last time out when 3rd in the Group 1 Queen Anne
which was a good performance. I’d already taken 7/1 early, then 15/2 yesterday
with betvictor, but they’ve gone 9/1 with him this morning so I’ve topped up again.
Mark Johnston’s stable is flying at the moment, if he gets away well I think he
will be hard to peg back.

    3.35 Newmarket – Sceptical 4/1 Paddy Power

I think he would have won last time out in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot if
he had been held onto a little longer, I don’t expect Frankie to make the same
    mistake here.

    3.50 Ascot – Jawwaal *nap* 16/1 E/W Boylesports

An ex John Gosden one who transferred to Michael Dodds and then didn’t get
his head in front all year. Michael Dods, who I rate highly as a trainer of
sprinters, said that he had had his problems. Whatever they were, it looks like
he has sorted them out as you could have called him the winner a long way out
on his appearance at Doncaster. He’s been raised 5lbs for that to a mark of
    90. I think that’s fair and he had won off 89 when with Gosden. I’m very
keen on his chances today :good:

That’s all my bets for the day, I’ll be popping in and out to see how we are
all doing, I hope we all have a good one. Bella ciao :good:

Thanks Jac, and I was spitting feathers trying to get in this afternoon to post
another bet, it didn’t win but that’s not the point. It was Sir Busker, I’d backed him
the last twice and thought he might do the treble. This is the 2nd day in a row I’ve
criticized a jockey, I’m must be getting a right moan, and I think Oisen Murphy is the
bee’s knees, but why on earth did he keep his whip in his right hand when he was colliding
with horses who were all on his left. Anyway, he came through like a train as I knew he would
at the end but Mottakhayyal looks very decent.

You and I both had Seventh Kingdom and he’s another for the notebook. Having won well his 1st time
out despite missing the break and not settling, it seems he hadn’t learned anything as he was
even worse away this time and well behind, getting pushed along and then eventually picking up
and running through strongly for 3rd. When he learns to break and settle he could be very decent.

Laser Show was 1 place out the money at 20s and Sceptical just got beat by a very clever run
by young Fallon Jnr, who looks like he could be as good as his dad. It was all close but no
cigar ubtil my nap Jawwaal came to the rescue. He’s another than will win decent races.

Some great racing, but the site grinds to a halt at times. I hope that david can get it ironed
    out soon.

Here’s hoping that Pinatubo shows his true colours, and I’m having a bet on In Swoop in Hein’s
homeland. See you tomorrow, if the site hasn’t disappeared into a black hole

Thanks for the rundown on your races yesterday Graham really interesting and helpful analysis, haven’t caught up yet but sounds as though it was as frustrating a day as trying to get on here. But Jawwaal came through for you in the end. :yahoo:

Must admit Sheik Hamdan is getting my head in a spin with all his Muta’s,Mots & Mo’s and they are all doing so well at present you cannot leave them off your short list.

Best of luck with Swoop (great name) in Germany and I’ll be cheering Pinatubo home in France..looking forward to seeing him again and fingers crossed for the 7f comeback.

Okay, copied my text so pressing submit…💥
    Back later..Jac :bye:

Good luck Graham, nice to read you’re the only one here to get active in our derby :good:
I switched to my old fancy Adrian on place, as he’s a Reliable Man :-)

Thanks Hein, and good luck with Adrian I think he has a solid chance :good:

It was frustrating yesterday Jac, and it seems to be carrying on today, I’ve had
problems trying to get into this thread. I hope Pinatubo is back to the horse he
was last year, he looked invincible then. I have to be honest, and it’s almost
sacrilege, but I’ve taken a bit of the 11/1 for Alson. I will be jumping up and
down if Pinatubo wins, but with my betting head on I think that 4/6 looks a bit
short to me. If for whaever reason he’s not back to his best this year then he’ll
get a bit of bother from Alson I think. I’m just sticking to the two today, and done
the double E/W with In Swoop

Let’s hope we are all smiling ear to ear after racing today :good:

Hein..I’ve had a little EW dabble in your Derby this afternoon
    ..
    Soul Train 9/1 EW

I sponsor an ex racehorse at an Animal Sanctuary in Norfolk by the same name but my main reason for choosing him is because he’s by my most favourite, sadly now departed, German bred stallion Manduro.

I’ve also had 8/1 EW on Molatham in the PJP as agree with Graham Pinatubo is too short to back but I hope he wins. :good:

Will be watching these two races with interest..best of luck with Adrian Hein and Graham with In Swoop..Jac :rose:
