Shame that Will Buick couldn’t get on board Dee Ex Bee FF he’s doesn’t have a ride in this and thought he might have wanted to ride DubheIt is interesting to note that Dee Ex Bee bled form both nostrils after he ran 2nd to Stradivarius at York last year in the Lonsdale. Hopefully this won’t happen again but he’s worth taking on here.

3.05 Loxley 10/1 betvictor
I was a bit torn between Dream castle and Loxley, there was nothing between the two
of them last time out. I’m hoping they go a good clip as Loxley has stamina on his
side, but they normally do go off like scalded cats over there so I think he should
be okay.3.40 Dubai Horizon 33/1 Paddy power
I feel a bit of a turncoat deserting Universal Order, and I may well regret it as he
looked to have won cosily last time out. I did note that Dubai Horizon was running on
when he finished behind Universal Order earlier this month and although he was 8th he
was just over 5L behind and there is a 12lb turnaround between the 2 in favour of DH.
It’s a pity there aren’t 8 runners, but I’ll chance him E/W anyway.4.15 Assimilation 12/1 Paddy power
I struggled with this race and Dubai legacy could be the one but he is short enough
in the betting. This is all a bit new for Assimilation but he was getting the hang
of it late on in his 1st attempt over here. He has fairly decent form back home and
i’d expect him to come on for his run 2 weeks back.4.50 Salute The Soldier 14/1 PP 5 places
I wouldn’t normally go e/w at 14s, but the 5 places looks a bit tempting from paddy
Power. He was a decent sort with Clive Cox and has aquitted himself well in some
very decent races. It’s taking a chance that he takes to it out here, but if he
does I think he’s got a great shout. I quite fancy him.5.25 Alkaraama 50/1 Paddy Power
I’m a bit amazed at his price. He obviously has a lot to prove here, but he wasn’t a
bad old spud with Michael Stoute. He went off favourite for the Ayr Silver Cup and although
he only finished 7th he was stopped at an important time. He was bought and raced his
1st race over here at Jebal Ali and was a running on 2nd over 5f. The extra furlong
here should suit. He might not win but I think he’s a stonking E/W.6.00 Mailshot 20/1 E/W Skybet 5 places
I quite fancied him last time out at Meydan. he got a bit detached, but he was making up
good ground late on and although 5th he finished only 1 1/2 L behind the winner. I think
the 5 places with sky makes him very appealing.That’s my lot for this week Jac, let’s hope we can all get a few winners today
Have added a win on universal order with a saver on dubhe to my drafted bet
Just think it’s worth taking dee ex bee on, since its his first meydan run and is over an inadequate trip attempting to give weight
Drafted looks very short now, very happy I dived in as soon as the prices went up

Best of luck FF I’m with you on all of those so although we won’t be millionaires it would be nice to see Drafted get his head in front later…well done with the 5/2 I came in a bit too late for that.
Really hoping Dream Castle shows his true talent today and my lovely Dubai Legacy who gave me a winning day at Newmarket last year
We’ll be wiser later but will we be richer

Dream Castle did all he could but what a looker Barney Roy is..well deserved and as you say he’ll come on a ton for that run.
