Fantastic win for Rekindling sired by one of my favs in High Chaparral. Great to see the European 1-2-3
Glad you popped up Ginge
Going by Ginger form of lengths and distances (see QE11 Beat the Bank)
Rekindling won the Melbourne
in the Curragh Cup (Group 2) he was 2 lengths ahead of Elidor
Elidor beat Wall of Fire in a photo finishSo using Ginger form I have promoted Wall of Fire to 4th……

No, Nathan.
Punters weren’t backling Rekindling to reproduce the Curragh Cup form. Fact is this was his first start at 2 miles, a trip that appeared certain to suit… Rekindling duly improvimg to show a career best. So the line of form Rekindling to Elidor through to Wall Of Fire is a particularly unreliable/false one.Value Is EverythingNovember 8, 2017 at 15:04 #1325784Cruel Ginge; let us dream our dreams. Thomas Hobson would definitely have won with the original jockey and WoF is, morally the 4th horse home….
November 8, 2017 at 16:12 #1325794He’s so cruel Moehat.
I’m thinking of renaming him the ‘Ginger Grinch’

The most unreliable/false form of the season was the Joel Stakes, using that to take into the QE11 was a school boy error.
