When a journalist has the balls to tackle racing’s elephants in the room, then they will be rightly lauded. Lauded for defending the sport they make a living from and championing the horse.
The elephants are numerous and growing by the day. If they get too big for the room, then the goose that laid this golden egg will be cooked.
The sport and people’s livelihoods like everything else is at the crossroads and it is truly a very busy junction.
Sadly very few have stepped forward and the silence is ear shattering.
Love the horse and the horse can love back, but in any case the trusting horse loves anyway.
