I’m reminded the David Coleman sketch on Spitting Image where he goes into overdrive too soon and his head explodes. Jerry Hannon gets too excited too early and leaves himself nowhere to go in the closing stages.
That aside that was a cracking race which I really enjoyed watching. It did help that my selection Run Wild Fred gave me a good run, but a decent jump was needed at the last and he scuffed it.
April 5, 2021 at 21:41 #1534626Apparently Robin De Carlow broke her pelvis. They are trying to save her but it’s touch & go at the moment. Fingers crossed for her.
Hannon seems to lose interest during his commentaries, almost like he’s even boring himself.
April 5, 2021 at 23:04 #1534633He seems to punt quite a bit, you can tell by his tone of voice and sighs when one he’s on comes off the bridle. He completely ignored Coventry in the juvenile hurdle today for at least half a mile of the race
