On todays race, i’ve relieved the layers of some 1.7, McCoy gave BV a nice introduction and BV just got a bit tired in the closing stages imo, so my view is more to come and should take this on his way to better things

Regarding  "..my Ratings..", Dj, I used to get the Black Book like yourself, but over the last couple of years I have become very confused. <br>Probably I wouldn’t if only the TF was taken as read, as it is usually "fair".<br> In recent years, however, high ratings have been allocated to horses after minimum evidence, i.e. 3 races, or like the Kauto Star Rating which is a frown on my brow, but that is another debate!:)

Also, the introduction of the other "Rating" peoples’ discussed on this thread and other media has now thrown this old man into disarray!

After yesterday’s Opera run and before today’s run I would have TROUBLE @ 140. without the "p" ;)

Unfortunately my cherished guide, Timeform, does look a bit tired now, as someone mentioned on this forum some time ago. It was superb when it was the only acceptable "Bible". Probably that is why they now have a habit of "over rating" to compete in some way with other Rating Systems…<br>
