Hi Boz, it’s been quiet since ginger started to stalk SteveCaution and Steve decided it was the last straw when taking a piddle and noticed ginge watching through a window.
I see our old pal Ertijaal has been hacking up over in Dubai in the sprint contests, looks the horse we thought he was.
Best of luck for Cheltenham mate…..

Cheers Nath, nice to see a familiar face again, although all are obviously welcome :good:

I’ll be honest mate I’ve give Meydan the total swerve this year. I do work in a betting shop though so I’ve heard it and tried my best to ignore the fact I’ve not been involved financially :rose:

It’s all about next month though pal, I’m down there for the Tuesday. Game well and truly on B-)

Hi Boz, hope all is well.

I think your strategy with Outlander and the RSA was totally dependent on the faith of No More Heroes from the outset, regardless of the well-being of Killultagh Vic. In Sir Des Champs, Mullins had more of an RSA horse than Outlander and Gigginstown pulled rank and split him and First Lieutenant. Gigginstown call the tune when it comes to their horses.

In my opinion Outlander is not a horse that’s crying out for three miles, for all that he’ll probably stay it. No More Heroes is the opposite, in that he has won at 2m 4f but is a better horse over 3m. Outlander’s best chance of winning at Cheltenham is definitely the JLT, I’d prefer him to Bristol De Mai but am hoping Shaneshill can bounce back. That 1 length demolition of Outlander last season is still fresh in my memory.

Not sure if we’re on the same wavelength but an outsider from the Mullins yard that I like a lot is Arbre De Vie. He looked a horse of quite some potential last season and while he was beaten on chase debut I’m sure there’s better to come.

Hey Tommy. Ye you’re right mate regarding No More Heroes and Outlander. I believe Willie’s horse is the RSA animal and NMH is probably overrated. He’s the steamer in the market but I think he’ll pop next month.

Although others might call it clutching at straws I’m calling Smashing winning today a big plus to AVANT TOUT. I saw his brazen defeat to Outlander and thought I was watching a wonder-foal – I couldn’t believe he was 5. His talent beggars belief and his form stacks up. I nicked a little bit of 66/1 for the RSA and do you know what, he’ll be there or thereabouts.

Smashing is a class animal, and especially on his favoured ground. A live chance in the Ryanair.

I wouldn’t particularly be a fan of Avant Tout myself but he maybe I’m wrong.

This Avant Tout has a huge future Tommy. Whether this Cheltenham comes too soon for him or not remains to be seen, but he’s a proper animal. I saw him just go down to Outlander, who himself is a proper one. He looked like a foal that day, he had nothing to him and I couldn’t believe he was even in that field. He jumped like a stag though and travelled like a dream. He’s got some proper staying power and he looks as though the RSA is his race. I’ve put in a saver for the JLT because he doesn’t lack for gears, although 3 miles plus is his game. The fact he fell last time when about to give Smashing a race, someone who along with Outlander has franked the form ten fold, shouldn’t put anyone off because that was nothing more than a blip in an otherwise flawless fence jumping career. I’ll take Danny Mullins at the top of his game for Cheltenham, they’ve got on well before. Just please please Willie and company, take the RSA route!

    Au Quart De Tour TOWNSHEND

I KNEW he was a County horse! Flat bred with major quotes going in for the Martin Pipe? No! He travelled gorgeous and died a death one or two out. 10 stone sh*g all in the County and there you go ladies and gents, your 2016 County Hurdle winner ;-)

Genuinely can’t believe that the Racing Post have the gall to post-call the Silviniaco Conti performance as ‘impressive’. I watched it and saw nothing but. It was a race in which he and only he got his condtions, he had everything his own way, it was a poor race and it fell apart in the conditions. It was almost as if Noel Fehily, knowing that his mount wasn’t going for the Grand National, rode him out to make him re-open a few peoples’ eyes. Smacked of a bit of much of a muchness to this judge :negative: Obviously better than he’s been for a while, but don’t get carried away…..

That was a massively eyecatching run from Aloomomo at Ascot earlier. I’m already in quite heavily on Fingal Bay, found my saver for when I’m there on the day though ;-)

The biggest mover was obviously Theatre Guide who, because of two fantastic runs this season, now finds himself between a rock and a hard place on 150. Good luck placing him connections!

Curiously it seems old Theatre Guide has been left unchanged on 139. For my money that makes him about as well handicapped as anything around on his form this season, definitely one to be followed with interest on his next assignment.

Hi boz great you back any views on the flat mate my bets below

    MINDING 25S for 1000 guineas
MOONLIGHT MAGIC 33/1 Derby. MIDTERM 16/1 Derby
    ANDASTRA 50/1 Epsom oaks
    CRAZY HORSE 40/1 2000 GUINEAS

Like hearing your views on racing i do and do you have any bets to

Woah nelly, we’ve not even yet the Paddy Power yet me ol’ Bobby Dazzler and you’re asking me about the flat?? You know which side my breads buttered matey!

Truth be told I’ve nipped a couple for the Oaks. I love the look of this TURRET ROCKS as an improving middle distance type. Solid form this year for Jimmy but will surely thrive at 3 over a mile and a half.

SO MI DAR is another I’ve had a tickle at. Couldn’t help having a go on a beautifully bred Johnny G filly who was that professional on debut. I’ve taken 25/1 on each mate.

Knew I had my own crumbs on here somewhere and after today’s showing I was feeling pretty pleased with myself so came to check in :good: To see I’ve been rogered by me ol’ mate Bobby Dazzler though I might just crawl back under my rock :rose: Cracking stuff Darren, bet you’re walking round like Billy Big Spuds! B-)

Unlucky with Midterm going forward mate. He’d looked a decent bet until today. Not sure I like this years Dante as a trial. Your Moonlight Magic looks half decent but I can’t see him getting 12f round Epsom. I’m on Cloth Of Stars at 14s, looks to have a good chance if he shows up. I think the long Epsom straight looks right up his street. I’m a bit gutted I didn’t hit the button on 25s because I fancied him straight after the Greffulhe.

Happy with all of my Epsom chances anyway so I am ;-)
