Good idea bill. I must confess to be nearly at a standstill as far as betting on the horses is concerned and if it wasn’t for the competitions on here I’d probably not have tuned in to watch much either. There is Cheltenham and Aintree just around the corner and I do prefer the flat as a spectacle so my interest may pick up but football has taken over again as my main enjoyment at the moment.

Did the mystery of “the little red book” ever get solved?
My SUPER SYSTEMS 11 booklet is a pale green colour but for the life of me I cannot find the first one which I think was a similar colour but definitely was not red and so I do wonder if you have an edition which I may have missed.

The little Red Book no working to well.There are 20 systems in it and then some DAILY MAIL
and DAILY MIRROR systems,I also have SUPER SYSTEMS II its a bit like Uncle Ernie’s books.
I posted some horses which I interpreted from your posts which have made a profit over last year
all lost except one at 10/1 beaten a neck and today a winner at 13/2.rab123.
I do believe “The Little Red Book” must be the same as the one I and elcartero also have but your edition has a red outer cover whilst ours is a pale green(ish).
Most form experts have little or no time for systems, mainly I believe, because they appear to have a limited life or as I think are suitable for different times of the year or some other quirky reason but they have and do come back (sometimes).
The advantage you have is the ability to think as they say “outside of the box” and take ideas from different sources and develop them into a way you find suitable and HRB being the perfect example.
I always enjoy the likes of Racing Ahead’s 20 simple systems and collaborating with systemites as we find here, where they can be picked apart to find what is good and what is not so good.
Racing Ahead brought notoriety to the wonderful FENMAN and his observations and systems but still his final piece of the jigsaw was reference to form.
