MrE always proffered the use of odds-on winners to be used to increase the profit via doubling up to 3/1 (I think) but I would have been quite happy with the double.

    Well done rab123

I woke early had a cup of tea and started to read RACING HEAD little red book.
I woke up the beast in the corner and poked some numbers in and found a total that
kept getting ones against it, a lttle test for the week.

3.55 Plum Fair and Frank L
    4.50 Wolv Toolatetodelegate L

Perhaps Billion is right I will post for a week see how they go.

elcartero it should read RACING AHEAD little red book. Racingahead magazine
sold some books with loads of systems using RACING POST..DAILY MAIL..DAILY
MIRROR.The one I used is Perfect Points using 1/2/3/4 placing c/cd/d/bf and
first three in the betting.I have just put them in PR RATING scoring tool and
see what comes out. I don’t know if you can still purcess it maybe Billion can throw
light on that I believe he mentioned about it some time ago’

    RACING AHEAD – SUPER SYSTEMS

I think you have the £10 booklet elcartero. Perhaps the cover colour has been changed and STEPHEN MULLEN/RACING AHEAD are re-selling it.

I have the SUPER SYSTEMS 11 at hand but my 1st volume is at Norfolk and I cannot get to it for another 3+ weeks.

The SUPER SYSTEMS 11 (which I have with me) is not unlike Uncle Ernies, sadly I paid my £10 but could not get on with it.

I have no desire to dampen rab123‘s spirits but in my very humble opinion ratings systems hold less value during the soggy winter months.

I question how can a horse run up to it full expectation and handicap mark when almost every meeting the conditions are described as HEAVY.

    Tuesday January 30

It is hard to find any kind of excuse for conflicting information but when checking the ground conditions only Newcastle [excl. Punchestown] mentioned the word HEAVY within the going and Lingfield was said to be Standard.

    Strange for a NH meeting.

A quick double check at the Racing UK site claims Lingfield as HEAVY.
