He won the Browns easily so I’m 99% sure he’ll get it , he’s been hidden all year in grade 1s , right age with a lovely weight , he’s been played all winter
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

I wouldn’t disagree with that.
February 18, 2026 at 17:04 #1755136Quite fancy FLOORING PORTER after his Kerry National win, but a serious question was what the commentator said about his over inflated weights. His stamina beyond 3 miles has to be taken on trust, but has twice won the Stayers Hurdle so expecting it not to be a problem.
Also the two Gigginstown owned horses FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU (FR) and SEARCH FOR GLORY makes my appeal based on the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown over the Christmas period.
No bet yet, waiting until after Cheltenham.

Stellar Story 40/1 each way (1st 4)
February 23, 2026 at 04:48 #1755998My current picks…
Haiti Couleurs 16-1 ew 4 places
Iroko 6-1 free bet
Captain Cody 20-1 free bet
Monty’s Star 20-1 free bet
Lecky Watson 33-1 free bet
High Class Hero 40-1 free bet
Quai De Bourbon 40-1 free betFebruary 23, 2026 at 18:19 #1756020Jordans at 33-1.
He’s on my shortlist for the valuable staying chases once the ground dries out, if it ever does.
February 23, 2026 at 22:27 #1756049Setting myself up to be shot down here but, by my reckoning 6 entries are currently not qualified:
Nick Rockett
Impaire Et Passe
Ile Atlantique
Jagwar
Aint That A Shame
O’Moore ParkAin’t That A Shame goes to Kelso on Saturday so if running would be qualified.
Nick Rockett has to run in a chase to qualify, the others need to place in a chase of 2m 7.5f or more.
February 25, 2026 at 12:59 #1756217Handstands for me at 66-1. He’s surely better than we’ve seen, and I’ve taken that each way
I’ll probably add Lecky Watson or Captain Cody, both very much of a muchness
Stellar Story another I keep coming back to
February 26, 2026 at 11:03 #1756403IROKO : GRAND NATIONAL FAVOURITE WILL NOT BE GOING TO KELSO ON SATURDAY.
Randox Grand National favourite Iroko will not take the same route he did to Aintree last season after he was not declared to run in Saturday’s bet365 Premier Chase (1.40) at Kelso.
The Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerreiro-trained eight-year-old is the 6-1 favourite to win the National, having finished fourth in it when sent off the 13-2 favourite last year. He warmed up for Aintree when runner-up in the Premier Chase 12 months ago.
However, he will not have the same preparation this time after he was not among the final field of four for the 2m7½f contest.
Owned by JP McManus, Iroko has run twice this season, finishing runner-up to subsequent King George VI Chase winner The Jukebox Man at Haydock before landing a graduation chase at Ascot in December for his first win in over two years.
Iroko does hold an entry in the Ultima Handicap Chase (3.20) at next month’s Cheltenham Festival, which he is 10-1 for. He is a previous winner at jump racing’s showpiece meeting, having landed the 2023 Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle.
Just four horses have been declared for the Premier Chase, with Protektorat set to be the red-hot favourite for Dan Skelton.
Another significant absentee on the Kelso card was I Started A Joke. Trained by Charles Byrnes, he had been the favourite for the bet365 Morebattle Hurdle (2.55).

Don't mess with mister in between.February 28, 2026 at 21:47 #1756768Ain’t That A Shame now qualified, but a tired fall at Kelso doesn’t exactly advertise Aintree prospects. He was down for a few minutes but thankfully walked away.
March 1, 2026 at 00:19 #1756784Listened to an interview with Handstands trainer on Unbridled yesterday and he sounded quite keen on running him in the National so I, too, have backed him just in case. Good to see that Ain’t that a Shame got up.
March 1, 2026 at 05:31 #1756787Will Handstands stay 4 miles plus? Last week the trainer was reported to have said he’s a 3 miler who is quick enough for a Ryanair.
March 1, 2026 at 08:08 #1756797I’ve got him well covered for Cheltenham Inc a number of Ryanair punts

“Will Handstands stay 4 miles plus? Last week the trainer was reported to have said he’s a 3 miler who is quick enough for a Ryanair.”I had put him in my TTF but probably just token bets on the day. Trainer’s comments are all over the place instead of saying, “He’s a 3 and a bit miler but probably not good enough for the gold cup and the stable jockey is going to ride our better horse in that, so we’ll just shove him in something else that I have zero confidence he will win either.”
March 2, 2026 at 16:10 #1756946I’ll probably regret this if he goes and hacks up this afternoon, but I’ve cashed out of Quai de Bourbon for a small loss. Just don’t like the hash he has made of his starts so far this season, ground or no ground, and if he runs indifferently today I suspect they could forget Aintree and just go back to Fairyhouse.
Just leaves me with Champ Kiely for now.
March 2, 2026 at 16:35 #1756947Quai de Bourbon running into some form there.
