I think they’ll be tempted by the GC , say Galopin runs badly tomorrow , the fav is very talented but he’s beaten plenty times ? , will both the 2 younger horses stay ? , this could be an open GC
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 27, 2025 at 19:31 #1748794He’s going for both HDLG they said they would before today
Vr x
December 27, 2025 at 20:26 #1748799I’ll be suprised if they do both , may well get entries but if he ran a big race in March Aintree would prob come to soon
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 30, 2025 at 17:17 #1749129I’ve bet two just now, both at 40-1. Lecky Watson, and Resplendent Grey
December 30, 2025 at 17:19 #1749130Funnily enough I tickled Lecky at a big price for the Ryanair earlier
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 31, 2025 at 06:44 #1749165Haiti Couleurs up to OR 159. Not enough for a Gold Cup win but the National is there for the taking. Same mark I Am Maximus won off.
December 31, 2025 at 19:12 #1749197Could Haiti Couleurs become the first horse to win and Irish, Welsh and English National. I think he has a great chance
And like I Am Maximus he has shown can carry the heavier weightVf x

Nice mark, ran in the Coral Gold Cup like De Bromhead’s Senior Chief prior to running at Aintree. Related to Cappa Bleu, who placed twice in the race.January 1, 2026 at 08:43 #1749221What mark did Native River go to after winning the Welsh , I wouldn’t underestimate this horse , if there’s some give in the ground he’s in the mix
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
January 1, 2026 at 09:34 #1749228Native River won the Welsh National off 155 and got raised to 168; Haiti Couleurs won off 154 and has been put up to 159.
January 1, 2026 at 09:38 #1749230Handicapper being fairer considering Haiti prob won easier , if they go down the GN route it might make the difference however I get the feeling they want a go at the GC
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

L’homme presse 66s
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
January 19, 2026 at 10:34 #1751019Haiti Couleurs going to run in the Irish Gold Cup.
January 19, 2026 at 15:16 #1751043Resplendent Grey is a pretty mad price and will be my first bet in the race alongside L’Homme Presse. The former is perhaps a shade below being graded level and is clearly in good nick while the latter has been an Aintree hopeful of mine since his novice days. Maybe handicapped to his best, but has shown that he can be competetive all the same.
I’m another one looking at Panic Attack. Can’t not be impressed with her Cheltenham/Newbury double and has had a nice canter around Newbury again since. Happy to wait with her, but definitely of interest.
Victtorino will be a bet once the weights come out, assuming he gets an entry. 146 is on the cusp of getting in these days, so it might be a wait and see where he is in relation to the weights job.
I’m sure there’ll be a dozen more once the entries come out.
January 20, 2026 at 13:56 #1751117My current picks…
Haiti Couleurs 16-1 ew 4 places
Captain Cody 20-1 free bet
Lecky Watson 33-1 free bet
Quai De Bourbon 40-1 free bet
High Class Hero 40-1 free betJanuary 23, 2026 at 13:21 #1751327Wonder if Christian Williams is considering this for Deep Cave?
Top weight in tomorrow’s Great Yorkshire off 141, will need to win to get in the Grand National.
