I was cheering on Granclare West for green as I Am Maximus looked finished, how he got back into it I’ll never know
Mullins dominating the National now
Well done Patrick and those who backed himCharles Darwin to conquer the World
April 5, 2025 at 16:13 #1726256Didn’t look good for Broadway Boy.
April 5, 2025 at 16:14 #1726257Great finish.
But I feel sick after watching Broadway Boy’s fall.
April 5, 2025 at 16:15 #1726258Me too, poor Broadway Boy, didn’t deserve that.
April 5, 2025 at 16:16 #1726259It didn’t CAS , well done to Patrick , there we were thinking Willie wasn’t taking the trainer championship seriously , he’s very emotional …
April 5, 2025 at 16:18 #1726262That was awful fall by Broadway Boy, which will probably be part of the narrative on the news later.
April 5, 2025 at 16:19 #1726263Well done winners and well done to Willie and Co.
The National is not for the fun of just having a runner in it as Mr. Mullins proved it again:
Six runners and the finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and ….. This man is not throwing darts, he is sending the right horses to Aintree.Hoped for no fatalities, but that could be an illusion now.
April 5, 2025 at 16:22 #1726264Thanks RTB. lol no i didnt have most of the field.
April 5, 2025 at 16:25 #1726265Let’s face fact here , he’s plundered plenty of races this week with some of his reserves , he’s miles in front of everyone , Elliott is falling further behind not catching up , Nicholls doesn’t have the ammo and Henderson can’t pull the trigger , Skeltons trying but Mullins is way out in front …and he’s still pressing the accelerator pedal

33/1 – didnt realise his price had drifted so much until the result. Wasnt he c16s only yday? And most interesting stat:
The 1 – 2 – 3 finishers blows the
“3 races in a season” right out of the water

No probably about it, unfortunately. The animal rights crowd and their allies in the anti-racing BBC and newspapers will seize on it with undisguised glee.
April 5, 2025 at 16:29 #1726269It backs up needing a class horse now , the days of plodding handicappers winning it are over
April 5, 2025 at 16:30 #1726270Spot on, HDLG. It is a one sided fight now. Mullins is so far ahead. I genuinely think he has broken the likes of Henderson and Nicholls and even Elliott now. They look like beaten men.
April 5, 2025 at 16:32 #1726272WD winners, esp a TRF newbie

April 5, 2025 at 16:36 #1726274Wd winners. Pleased to see Bravemansgame go well for so far, suspect they should have gone for the Topham but hes not completely bust
April 5, 2025 at 16:37 #1726275IT’s ridiculous to see Nicholls getting excited about Caldwell Potter, when Willie and JP have like 20 of that calibre in their stables…..
April 5, 2025 at 16:39 #1726277Did Broadway Boy survive? RTV cut out the fall from their replay.
