In the absence of You Proof (why? hope not injured) I’ve gone for Kazansky.

I went for Santo Sospir who has won on heavy and has the assistance of Sean Bowen in the saddle.

Well done, Mike. Was a pretty convincing winner under a good Townend ride.

That was hugely impressive considering how he pulled on that ground.

All the talk by the commentators was Albert Bartlett but going by Willies history, I’d say the Turners is more likely.

All he does is stay GM23 so I would like to think (and hope) it’s the Albert Bartlett.

”All he does is stay GM23 so I would like to think (and hope) it’s the Albert Bartlett”

With the way he tanked through the race, I think he may be a lot faster than given credit for.

Everyone said Albert Bartlett for Final Demand last year, myself included but Willie went Turners. He said he doesn’t like to run his classy horses in the Albert Bartlett as it can ruin them.

It certainly didn’t do The Jukebox Man any harm.

He might not be that classy tbh for an intermediate distance, without wanting to sound mean I didn’t think much of the opposition he faced today. The horse he beat the time before won the other day in a grade 2 at 3 miles so the decent formline is a staying one. There’s a chance he goes Turners if the ground is soft next month I suppose though the stable have options for the Turners and Doctor S would take a bit of beating in the Albert Bartlett.

“Everyone said Albert Bartlett for Final Demand last year,”

Yeh exactly and they should’ve done that, look what happened, hopefully they will learn from that this time.

Like you say The Jukebox Man ran in it so it doesn’t necessarily ruin them. Minella Indo did too I think.
