Lancashire dominated the game from start to finish but could only draw. I hope it is not going to be one of those seasons..
Lancashire rally from 23 for 5 to 143 for 6 and a lead of 120. Derbyshire are still favourites but at least the Red Rose bowlers will feel they have a target they can work with tomorrow.
I see Lancashire are putting their County Championship livestream behind a paywall. Non members will have to pay £20 a year to watch (members can continue to watch for free, so from a selfish perspective at least I will be OK).
I did wonder how long free access would last. Lancashire’s livestream is quite a large operation and is the most watched of any county, so I suppose there was an inevitability the club would start charging for it.
After Somerset’s surprisingly good start to the season I thought I’d check out the fixtures. Only once do they play Surrey.

Indeed Nathan, I was going to post that this morning, but I had paint on my hand.
Not looking so bad for your side now, draw id think, in the second tier, Northants, will probably also draw at Derbyshire. While Lancs look in serious trouble at the moment against Middlesex.
