Not bad at all Homer, weather depending you’d have to think Yorkshire will wrap that game up tomorrow. I’m hoping Bresnan will miss the summer being in the England side which would be a blow to Yorkshire. Somerset will need to get Lancashire to follow on now to force a result you would think although other than Trescothick, Compton and Peterson all three ex international batsmen the rest struggled so it might be a case of Somerset scoring above par.Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*nJune 2, 2014 at 20:47 #480977
33 Championship titles.

We’ll see what Somerset batsmen are made of in the 2nd innings, will probably be about 400 odds runs behind. If they can get a draw out of this it will show their championship credentials.Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*nJuly 16, 2014 at 22:42 #485677

Todays results have put a large stonking rusty old nail into Somerset’s tadger, wont be striking this year……Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*nAugust 19, 2014 at 14:55 #488584
C’mon the Tykes
2 massive away games up next in the CC. Lancs away, just because its Lancashire. They won’t be gifting Yorkshire anything and then 2nd place Notts in Sept. Hopefully if Yorks need a win in their last game then Somerset will be out of it and just keel over. Sorry NathanAugust 19, 2014 at 15:17 #488587
Might be fighting off relegation Homer if the slide continues, still looking a good finish in contention for the top 3 sides.Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*nSeptember 1, 2014 at 12:15 #489589
Good start for Yorkshire agen t’owd enemy Notts struggling against Durham also helpsSeptember 3, 2014 at 08:51 #489682
Two tense final days set up. Notts require 178 to win with 6 wickets left, whilst Yorshire require 8 Lancashire wickets on what appears to be a good batting wicket.September 3, 2014 at 15:29 #489705
A perfect scenario for a Yorkie. An innings defeat of Lancashire in their backyard and Durham victorious against Yorkshire’s closest rivals, Notts. Also the Warwickshire game is petering out into a tame draw. Still not in the bag but a long way towards another ChampionshipSeptember 11, 2014 at 12:23 #490048

Your chance has arrived Nathan although you are relying on a Draw or a low scoring Yorkshire win in the final game. Somerset should beat already relegated Notts depending on the weather.
Good luck to all teams especially YorkshireSeptember 16, 2016 at 19:05 #1263765
It’s hard to believe before the Yorkshire v Somerset game that Somerset were 33/1 for the Championship.
Middlesex are in pole position and unless they get knocked over for a low score in the first innings then Yorkshire will have to take risks which would put the draw under threat.Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*nSeptember 21, 2016 at 23:23 #1264244
If anyone deserves to win the Championship other than myself it’s Marcus Trescothick.
All I’m asking for is Somerset to win their match, Yorkshire not to make 350 and Middlesex not to win.
Fair enough I think.Don't Eat The Pie and Don't Buy The S*n
