But he didn’t stay last year did he despite the slow pace
Don’t get me wrong I think hes very good, I think he will definitely win the betfair chase again
If he were mine I’d go betfair chase, then give the king George one more try then freshen up for aintree and miss this
October 7, 2020 at 13:22 #1505217I’d stay away from the KG , leave that to nicholls as it’s his horses GC
October 7, 2020 at 20:31 #1505255But he didn’t stay last year did he despite the slow pace
Who Santini.??
Did everything in behind not stay then.?
Slower pace would have helped others ahead of Santini imo
Also worth noting he is still very lightly raced, no reason why he can’t improveBlackbeard to conquer the World
October 7, 2020 at 22:05 #1505263I don’t see any reason that ABP won’t be right there again, but equally Allaho and Minella Indo are very appealing as well, and I think I’ll follow Greenasgrass in betting him now. I think 25/1 is a big price.
October 8, 2020 at 00:00 #1505271Allaho not likely to come here.
October 8, 2020 at 13:29 #1505310For me you don’t take Lostintranslation near Kempton, and keep him to left handed tracks. He’s better left handed and that’s not solely based on last season, check his novice run at Sandown as well.
Put this in the RSA thread by accident.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 8, 2020 at 13:38 #1505312Tizzard has mentioned that Lostintranslation goes to Kempton.
October 8, 2020 at 13:41 #1505313Yeah Mike, i see that, but that’s my view he isn’t as fluent going right handed- no doubt that run last year wasn’t down to being right handed- but i’d be surprised if he wins at Kempton.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 8, 2020 at 13:52 #1505315He wont. CDO is the Kempton master.
October 8, 2020 at 17:14 #1505339I’d be much happier if they kept well away from kempton but money talks , if he was to win at haydock then they,ll be the bonus to chase
October 12, 2020 at 08:34 #1505774I’m surprised Tizzard’s going to Haydock again with Lostintranslation. I can’t recall a horse doing the Haydock / Cheltenham double, although Imperial Commander came close.
We need an alternative race at similar time. Possibly something on Ladbroke Trophy weekendOctober 12, 2020 at 09:21 #1505778I think the race is alrite, if it were up to me I would just move it earlier in the calendar, to a week before the Paddy Power Gold Cup. That gives the horses more recovery time for the King George if they want to attempt the treble as it can get exhausting on the ground.
October 12, 2020 at 16:26 #1505825Agreed Mike, and not just for the sake of the winner. Remember Tea for Two staggering over the last couple of fences the year BDM won by a record margin on heavy? He probably still wouldn’t have beaten Might Bite in the KG but it may have made for a closer more exciting finish.
October 13, 2020 at 11:07 #1505884Santini is going Betfair Chase (at the moment), Cotswold Chase, and Gold Cup.
October 13, 2020 at 18:51 #1505941Intresting Mullins said MELON likely target here in 2021 be Gold cup even though owner got dual winner as owner showed in supreme no issue in running 2 of his horses in same race.Horse only comes alive during the festival
October 13, 2020 at 19:50 #1505949I’d have Melon in the Champion Chase if he were mine
Blackbeard to conquer the World
October 26, 2020 at 10:41 #1507393The first contender comes out today
Though minella indo is notoriously hard to get fit so no surprise if he gets beat as he will probably be as fat as a butchers dog
