. Getting up on the line to beat your 2 main bets. Another 1-2-3 landed. Well done GTSeptember 28, 2018 at 14:43 #1375932In one way I was lucky to back that saver winner. Only reason I backed her was with Dramatic Queen coming out thought Highgarden might get the run of the race from the front. Only to be held up. LOL
Missy Sippy should’ve won though. Came through but drifted right and Jamie had to switch his whip hand. So close to Highgarden couldn’t use it properly and his mount idled.
Crimsom Rosette was also stopped in her run at one point, losing momentum; so she could’ve won too.
Argghhhh indeed, Mtoto!!!Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2018 at 14:54 #1375938Although difficult to say what would’ve happened had things developed differently in the opener, I think Laugh Aloud could’ve gone very close. Haven’t seen the sectionals, but seemed to go too fast too soon. Think I was wrong to have backed Unforgetable Filly and Argortera – both trainers in nowhere near the same form as they were when those two horses won last time out. At this time of year when horses are going over the top and/or losing their summer coat… trainer form becomes even more important imo.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2018 at 15:00 #1375939No bet in the Rockfell.
Front two in the betting have excellent chances on form; but ME went too fast too soon and could get back to form, but had a very hard race in the Moyglare. Just Wonderful disappointed there and this a quick reappearance. Youretimeisnow is the obvious third choice, but not sure of her stamina.Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2018 at 20:47 #13759631:50 Newmarket:
