White Moonstone and she will improve for a step up in trip and a Dubai winter on her back!
You speak a lot of rubbish most of the time Ante Post Self Promoter but this takes the cake. In one breath you speak of uncertainty about Frankel training on but in the next you seem certain that White Moonstone will. All evidence to hand indicates that a trip to Dubai for the winter does absolutely nothing for the rising 3yos from the Godolphin team. More go MIA over winter than any other stable on the planet.
You also say Workforce has beaten two Gr1 horses that he clearly has not. From now on I think the best way anyone could approach you is not at all TAPK. Ignoring you will be bliss. Anyone second the motion?
September 28, 2010 at 12:47 #319865My dear FIST; that is some mouthful about New Approach. Go check out his 2yo races again.Beaten a head in the Guineas he also won the Derby and the Champion Stakes in the same year. How about Teofilo?Bolger thought he was the original STS.Anyhow they are all Galileos which says something about this great sire.Add Rip Van Winkle and Cape Blanco amongst his second tier winners!

I watched everyone of his 2yo races a dozen times mate and he never once gave me a buzz like Frankel does.
He scraped home in the Dewhurst from a horse who went of the radar for some reason and always looked like it was only matter of time before something caught up with him.
When Frankel wins the Dewhurst in the same fashion as he has won his other races he’ll be the shortest pricesd fav for the guineas in gawd knows how many years.
Like chalk and cheese even if Frankel still has to achieve what New Approach did. Id you want to lay me evens about Frankel ending up with a higher 2yo rating I’ll gladly take all you can afford.
Then I’ll lay him to lose at 1/4 just in case

There"s only one thing worse than a big mouth (TAPK)!!And thats a big mouth who just cant back it up (Chiswickian). Have a read of "Prophet with an F" and tell me the rubbish i talk doesn"t make a profit! Or try TAPK"s Notes another thread full of winners most of which have a detailed analysis! Are you related to Mr W by any chance as i dont recall you writing anything thats memorable apart from the above!
September 28, 2010 at 17:38 #319891Would the buzz Fist have any relationship to your age (which I know not)?I cannot remember the Buzz that Santa Clause gave me.But I would not judge him on the depth of the Buzz.As a mere boy I was more suseptible to the Buzz.So far NA defeated real classic stuff as a 2yo.Frankel has yet to do that.Just waiting and wondering.
September 28, 2010 at 17:42 #319892Fist if yuou didn’t get the Buzz after watching him a dosen times I think you can give up.You won’t get it now!

! I agree the Dewhurst is there for the taking, next spring will be the real test and even if he does win the Guineas he wont win the Derby as he simply wont stay imo.

Andy my old friend at the risk of blowing my own trumpet i think I know the buzz better than most.
I believe I was the first person on here to spot Sizing Europe as a potential Champion when he beat Big Zeb in a hurdle race in Ireland months before most people on here new he existed. Two minutes after Binocular won his first race I posted a thread saying we have just seen a Champion Hurdle winner, I was screaming Zarkava 5 months before the Arc as a wonder horse, at which time she had not even beaten anthying worth talking. I would not be moved on Zenyatta 7/1 months before the breeders and wouldn’t hear of defeat. I was telling people on here that Don’t Push It 60/1 was a certainty for the national months before the race, when other were saying he wouldn’t get the trip in a bus.
My failures to date when it came to spotting a class horse is St Nicholas Abbey who the jury are still out on die to a major set back. The other was Canford Cliffs who I said would not be beaten in the Guineas but he has truned outto be the best miler around so I think I should get at least a half pint for him.
I may get my fair share of ordinary races wrong but if I tell you Frankel is a future Superstar and will outdo anything New Approach achived by a proverbial mile then I suggest you pay attention

Does? Does doesn’t come into man. What planet are you on? Guineas will be nothing more than an exercise canter to this horse.
This is no ordinary animal and he moves with such grace and so well balanced neither Epsom or the trip should cause him any sort of problem.
Breeding is one thing but this horse glides along taking next to nothing out of himself has he goes. His class alone and ability to cover the ground effortlessy will ensure 12f will not be a problem. IMVHO
If you are intending laying im for the Derby I suggest you put only half your stake on and buy a sniper rifle with the other half cos it’s the only way you’ll stop him

September 28, 2010 at 20:56 #319946Oh dear, someones getting carried away….again! I agree he is a fantastic 2yo Fist but how many fantastic 2yo"s can you name that have gone onto Guineas/Derby doubles?
You know i"m on a different planet and if i had to put up a long shot for next years Derby it would be the colt named after meLong live the King

Even after that performance at Gowran?
You may be due half a point for your adoration of Canford Cliffs, Fist, but at least forty points need to be taken away for your initial and slightly prolonged dismissal of Sea The Stars.
September 29, 2010 at 02:18 #319975STS never won by more than a couple lengths.
Must have been confusing

Tis true Sea the Stars I never rated very highly but did think he’d very likley win the Arc if he got the trip. His win then brought him up in my estimation but I’d still put him well below the real greats like Secretariat, Sea Bird II, Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Dancing Brave etc
I wonder how he’d be rated now with Rip Van Winkle being a complete flop? Fame and Glory flopping in the Champion Stake wouldn’t have helped either
I suppose if Fame and Glory were to win the Arc that would have given him a mega boost but that IMO is not very likely.
I’d like a few quid on Frankel at 50/1 to end up rated higher than Sea The Stars. Fair bet considering he’s beat nothing to date. Any takers?

Trends are strictly for the birds and can’t effect the individual horse.
How many 5yo had won the QMCC, how many horses had regained the Gold Cup?
It’s knowing when something really special appears that tells you it’s time to throw trend out the window and this is Frankel time.
I thought Canford Cliffs was really something but this horse goes way beyond him when it comes to "the Buzz" for want of a better phrase.
I honestly haven’t seen anything like him and if he were to flop it would be the biggest disappointment in my racing life.
This horse IMVHO could topple Sea Bird II as the highest rated horse of all time.
Mind you at the poxy rating Timeform would appear to have him at just now he’s got along way to go.
One minute I read he’s been rated 129 with a P the next he’s 123
He’s already on looks a 133 horse and climbing and of he took on the likes of Rip Van Winkle tomorrow at level weights I know which one I would back.
That’s how highly I rate him so you can shove your trends where the monkey shoved it nuts as the say

If he beat Klammer by around 20l he would have.
September 29, 2010 at 05:18 #319984FIST talking of buzz did you watch Arazzi winning the BC?Was that a buzz or what? Or Secretariate winning the Belmont? Both at the highest level.
