I don’t have the final figures for 2015 but at the beginning of November ZOFFANY had 36 and CANFORD CLIFFS had 30.
The previous year ZEBEDEE had 38 and SHOWCASING 36.

June 9, 2016 at 19:28 #1250552They can all become multiple winners this season. So 40 wins (it’s not the winners) should be very realistic right now. No wonder Racebets are going 4/5 right now from 3/1 two nights ago.
June 19, 2016 at 03:14 #1252401Sir Henry Cecil was quite open in saying that Frankel was a complete psychopath in his first few months at Warren Place – aggressive, impossible to steer, more of a wild animal than a racehorse. Less gifted trainers than Sir Henry (i.e. everyone) could have a tough time nurturing their Frankels if they come out as fiery as the sire.
Looking at Cunco wasting precious energy going down to the start of the Chesham, it’s easy to see how the quote above is ringing true. Should’ve confirmed his superiority over Isomer but his unruly behaviour cost him the race IMO
June 19, 2016 at 13:36 #1252451It will be very interesting to see what his next few crops are like. Brigadier Gerard made a good start to his stallion career if I remember correctly, as at first he threw to the quality mares, then plummeted.
I do wonder if some of the wayward colts he is seeming to produce so far might be gelded.
There is also a possibility he may turn savage at stud, as indeed both Brigadier Gerard and Mill Reef did, though hopefully stallion management has moved on since the 1970s.August 26, 2016 at 09:15 #1261144Racebets go 1/9 Sir Prancealot and 10/1 Frankel
Is it game over…….??Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
