Time test. I posted that at exactly 4.59pm from Central Bangkok So we got 2 hours 8 mins 2 hours 4 min and 2 hours 6 mins take your pick.
To be honest all this crap makes me sick but life goes on and I wouldn’t give anyone the pleasue of saying I quit.
My problem is when betting in consquitive races. I have to call it in, make sure I’m on then post and sometimes it’s very fine especially if the internet is slow. But I can see or hear when races are off and while I may have posted AVE seconds late it was 1m2f race so I don’t see what all the fuss is about if I was afew seconds late pushing the button…..I can’t even be arsed looking to see if that is what Carv is on about as I don’t have to to know I did nothing wrong.
You’re not bookmakers guys and you don’t have to pay me anything this is a form not Ladbrokes Head Office. If I am having a bet I may want to see how the betting is going before I lunge in and I may have been a few seconds late now and then but no more than a few seconds after the off.
I only had one post that was made after the race was run and it lost but I still posted it…….no one complained about that. I was trying to get a link to watch the friggin race and couldn’t which sometimes happens in Thailand, next thing I knew the result popped up before I had posted the damn thing.
Then when I think I was doing the right thing I get Carv and David.teaming up on me..what’s new

So I did the fairest thing and deleted them both.
However it’s my fault I should have posted that bet (if the price was 4/7 or better) or whatever. Instead I PM someone I was chatting to just after I made the call….bad idea but II was in a hurry to go out
.I’ll make sure it won’t happen again and all bets will be posted 1 minute before the off or not at all. Wouldn’t want anyone having to allow a few lousy seconds for a slow internet now would we

If I can’t do that then I will quit. I don’t normally bet as much as I have this last week but I have a rason that will come to light soon.
Now I’ve said my bit you lot have said yours……. end of story.
You want to slag my betting methods be my guest you want to say well done fine but I don’t want my diary detracting from the main forum by becomoming a war zone..
I would love to read more opinions about actual races and race reading than how the Couch’s weight is doing. Would be nice if people would contibute their opinions a bit more even if they get it wrong.
Problem solved I hoped. Have a good one

August 13, 2009 at 14:48 #243672Fair dues to Fist, who is doing very well indeed.
This thread would be better without attempts to put down his bets.

Keep it up Fister, good stuff
If it’s okay with you I may compile a record of your bets to 1pt level stakes and post them here when a representative sample, say 100, has been amassed.
How will you do when your ‘preferred’ NH gets going I wonder?
Thanks Drone I can’t wait to be honest….too many gaps between these flat horses and vey hard to judge A from B….I don’t bet to level stakes and never have but no worries…(hell I better find a few 10 winners or I will be embarrased
)..I usually keep the balance going but have been too busy but will be posting an update shortly. Many thanks for the support to all you guys

Laa Rayb beat a horse of Jonjo’s, Spectait and is 2nd fav for the Sovereign Stakes (group 3) today. To say the least Jono was surpried he ran well The form could turn out ok but I wouldn’t bet on it even though Mark Johnston is in very good form.
SMS’s Confront went out like a light over 10f but ran much better in a Group 2 over 8f, todays trip, when 2nd to Aqlaam.
He really should win this as ereything is in his favour.
2000 pts Confront 11/10
I think every man his dog and probably the whole Chanel 4 team BBC and the Pope have been shouting Richard Hannon’s Magnus Thrax for the first at Chepstow. There has been a massive move for him from 4’s to 6/4.
Well your truly hasn’t backed him as the same sourse that gave me Gene Autry says he’s good, could win, but not great and is no good thing. Doesn’t sound like a horse to risk your wad on to me.
With that in mind I am siding with Brian Meehans Vanishing Grey who takes a huge drop in class here. Ran really well on g/f and not so well on g/s so the ground might just be ok for her tonight
2000 pts Vanishing Grey 5/4
1000 pts double
Vanishing Grey and Confront1000 win double

Time to cry when a 20/1 winner stuffs you
Backing a horse going for a 3 timer isn’t always advisable but Surprise Party’s form was franked again yesterday and might still be well in5,000 pts Surprise Party

I’ll be very disappointed as one of my two Leger bets doesn’t win with ease at Leapordstown. He looks a fair bet at evens but he can drop himself out and make things hard for himslef. I’d also prefer another 2 furlongs as he does stay and softer ground.begining wondering why I bet the damn thing

3000 pts Mourayan 1/1

With things going slow in Ireland looks like these next two could be off at the same time. Wanted to see uow Mourayan ran first but such is life.
Horses who come out quickly after a win often run really well and win again
3125 pts in the kitty al on to win Igougo 11/10
