Things do seem to have taken a rather desperate plunge, Fist. Lumping on at 4/9 – surely the style of short-price bottle-jobs like Harry Findlay, rather than your good self?
Despite having backed Arcano I hope Canford Cliffs wins tomorrow, for your sake.

If he gets beat It wont be Zambezian dollars whatever they are that I’ll be backing with it’ll be Coca Cola bottle tops. Only chnace of being beat is if Hughsie fall of him.
August 23, 2009 at 18:18 #245384I await tomorrow’s (or indeed today’s) 10 million ‘point’ bet to rectify things.
Please stop this nonsense now.

BTW you’ll be happy to know I also backed him quite heavily in doubles and trebles for the Guineas with Cheltenham horses so that will give you something else to gripe about

I won’t quit and it will be steady away but I will win every penny back I lost…..and no bet will be above 10,000 pts until I have at least half back and there wont be many of them…been around a long time and take more than a loss to keep me down dickhead!
August 23, 2009 at 20:17 #245401Yep, that’s me convinced!

Nobody wants to see people lose, Fist, but I’m sure even you can admit that the last two pages of this thread could at best be described as farcical. Your actions became so far removed from the guidelines you laid out at the beginning that what you were doing made absolutely no sense.
You suggested a 900,000 point bet for crying out loud – 150 times the maximum you set out on page one.
I don’t doubt that ReasonoverFaith could have made his/her thoughts clear in a far more sincere manner, but I’m reasonably confident that there was no real malice in what he/she said.
August 23, 2009 at 22:20 #245426I thought this was a joke when I saw 30,000 points on a horse at 7/2.
Then 900,000….
It’s not often I agree with Equitrack but this is just pathetic to read having been a follower from Page 1.

That’s what people playing the FOBTs say.

August 24, 2009 at 00:34 #245457Fist, for someone who doesn"t bet everyday, you are beginning to come across as a compulsive gambler! it is quite apparent you are happy betting on anything and everything! Not good discipline Old boy! God help you if you start Laying aswell! I suppose you are used to betting on 2 flys on a wall out there in Thailand?
I get No pleasure in saying i saw this coming weeks ago! You are better than this, you are carrying on like someone who wants to Self destruct! I have seen people lose everything at this game because they became addicted, thank goodness you are playing with pretend money! The only thing you are losing is your credibility,i hope! You can get that back by posting your undoubted knowledge of the game without the 900,0000000
points wagers! Now get a "F****n Grip on Yourself" as The Stranglers would say!August 24, 2009 at 00:52 #245463I take people at their word, TAPK. It is easier to tell the truth than to lie. Fist has already admitted he has done a year’s winnings on the horse.
By the way, to make the beans on toast more tasty, you can spread marmite on the toast, and put a sliced, hard-boiled egg on top.

Not quite on beans and toast yet…..I really don’t know what all the fuss is about. Not that they are but If those points were Thai Baht that would be around a 16,000 pounds bet. no one would have batted an eyelid has I said I was having under 20k on a would be good thing……who was it that took out a mortgage on here are backed Master minded? Well I din’t have to borrow money of anyone but i’m as sick as a parrot not at you lot having a go, but at me being so fookin stupid
Only one person on here knows how much I won at Cheltenham//well it all went on Canford Cliffs sum num na as they say here…sort of means hard shyte or your own effin fault.
As I said I won before and I’ll do it again jumps are round the corner ,,,,only just over 1m points to get back max bet 10,000 pts until I get to a bank of 200,000 before any bet above that is struck…my diary my diary my rules now fook off and no more comments unless they are well done, you couldn’t pick your nose or as TAPK would say get a grip
Unfortunately I can’t get marmite here Gerard but a few grasshoppers, cockraoch juice mixed together with snakes intestines tastes much the same when your pissed/….if you can imagine how sick that lot would make you then you just about got how I feel. Now let me get on with the job at hand…no jumps today but maybe have a bet tomorrow.
Geez I was just opening up the SL website as I was typing Arcano broke the track record in the Prix Morny? Hell 5 in a heap as well…amazing!

Desperate racing at Sedgefield today and hard to trust anything, least of all the fav Doris’s Gift in thn 4.15. A complete rag if ever there was one. Much prefer the chances of Pipers Legend who jumps and travels ok which might be enough to ensure a place or even win this very moderate race.
2000 pts ew Piper’s Legend 10/1
