Too thick
to be able to understand Sam’s instructions so taking Aussies to win corner bet with the one corner handicap advantage. Could be a cagey game so 10 total may not be reached as you would expect.August 16, 2023 at 11:02 #1659860I went under 1.5 goals for a bit of interest

August 16, 2023 at 13:10 #1659865Billys had 12/s Alessia Russo To Score, England Women To Win & Both Teams To Score (90 Mins) – Was 10/1 – Enhanced Odds

Spain La Roja 13/8
England Roses
15/8Bronze
Sweden 6/4
Australia 9/5 1.80Two difficult posers this weekend but worth calling for just a 1pt Double bet
SWEDEN 6/4 have won three bronze medals already in WC history but none of these were against the host countries. Why would Sweden want to be bronze medal party poopers and add insult to Aussie injury? The Matildas were indeed overawed by the semi-final occasion against the old enemy and did not do themselves justice and their weaknesses at the back were cruelly exposed. Sweden are a team we have seen that can exploit such shortcomings and any others and from seeing how hard they appeared to take defeat at the hands of the Spanish I would be surprised if they are not determined to recover from that injured pride and bring home another set of bronze medals like previous Swedish teams. The Australian team have maybe overachieved and are probably physically and emotionally drained while ace striker Sam Kerr in particular may find it hard to bounce back so quickly.
ENGLAND 15/8 have shown extraordinary professionalism and esprit de corps during the tournament and must just about get the nod over Spain in the final. They may not be the better footballers but they are probably the better team. Spain seem to be hidebound understandably in a Spanish style of football which is a delight to the eye but however much we neutrals may like them to win they may just come unstuck in their efforts to knock down a fourth physically imposing Northern European team in a row.
Sweden/England 6/1 + Double Chance
August 20, 2023 at 07:54 #1660200Great call Zil on Sweden.
I’ve taken the bet builder to the final.Spain Women v England Women
Under/Over 0.5 Goals: Over 0.5 Goals
Each Team Total Corners Taken: 3+ corners each team
Each Team Total Booking Points: 10+ booking points each team
Home Over Corners Taken: 3+ Spain Women corners
Away Over Corners Taken: 3+ England Women corners
To Score 1+ Goals: England Women
Away Player Tackles: Lucy Bronze 1+ Tackles
Home Team Offsides: Spain Women 2+ Offsides
Away Team Offsides: England Women 2+ Offsides.
I’ve also done a builder without lucy bronze.
A tenner riding on both of them.
My only worry is wether we get any bookings at all, given the referee’s approach in the semi final. She controlled the game supremely well, letting it flow and handed out just two bookings when there could have been four or five.
The deed is done, sitting back and hoping to enjoy the event. It is great to read the tonnes of rhetoric flying around.
The event has been hijacked by lots of people all with different agendas.
What we have here are two sides who have worked very hard to get here and this is their day which no one can take away from them.
Good luck to both teams.
August 20, 2023 at 15:37 #1660252Felicidades a españa, campeona del mundo.

....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
August 20, 2023 at 16:34 #1660269Spain much the better team; England were dogged, but ultimately unable to benefit from an easier path to the final.
Still, an enjoyable tournament, despite the unavoidable scheduling hoursAugust 20, 2023 at 19:53 #1660299Bloody typical, Japan beat Spain 4-0, lose 2-1 to Sweden, the
only goals they lost and also missed a penalty. Spain go on
to win the tournament. I feel I’ve been mugged
