“Nobody is “dismissing” the winner, Chezza.”
I meant her prospects before the race and not only on this forum.
I had 10/1 about her as previously stated here, but I also had 8/1 the runner up and other bets besides and haven’t actually made that much on the race.
I think it was a decent Oaks – first and second came clear and the third will be a force back at 1m2f.
Time 2.13 seconds slower than standard btw.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 3, 2022 at 17:01 #1600261Fwiw I thought Frankie got forced onto that side of the track by the slow start and everyone wanting to go down the middle as they have all day and him being stuck behind them all, ordinarily they’d head for the other rail off the turn and he’d probably be able to come down the middle. I think circumstances forced his hand.
June 3, 2022 at 17:03 #1600262How dare we give an opinion on a sport ginge
You’d think that’s what a forum was for or something
Had 0 pennies on her, frankie thought he had it in the bag and has either not seen Tuesday or just had a nightmare

It must be nice to know you can never be wrong
June 3, 2022 at 17:04 #1600264They didn’t seem to go that fast in the early stages but got going some way out to make it a good enough test.
With the winner and second clear – and both likely to improve further – this looks like a good Oaks.

Value Is EverythingJune 3, 2022 at 17:10 #1600266Emily Upjohn hangs down the camber when Dettori asks for her effort and her head goes in the air a little bit.
She has been beaten by a good filly but I believe she has been beaten by the track as well.
Let us hope they have a rematch at The Curragh. It looks the obvious place for both fillies to go next.
June 3, 2022 at 17:17 #1600267I thought there was nothing wrong with the ride given circumstances but it was from a terrible place to start at epsom
Ask again. How many have won from such a start?
June 3, 2022 at 17:20 #1600268You suggested we weren’t entitled to our opinion on the ride because we weren’t jockeys ginge
Not exactly what this site is about is it
June 3, 2022 at 17:23 #1600270Storming finish, well done to the winners and commiserations to those on
the runner up. Bad luck fellas, those that were on Kawida E/W. Jim Crowley
kept her out the back and just got hemmed in a little when making her run
when Frankie went passed her. She ran on again though, but 5th place means
no cigar. Certainly confirmed her run with With The Moonlight and ran on well.June 3, 2022 at 17:33 #1600271“Some grandstand jockeys on TRF today.”
While as all can see I agree with much of GT’s analysis of the race having independently said similar myself, I really, REALLY, can’t endorse the above.
It’s a game of opinions, and everyone is entitled to one and to express it.
Just as long as you realise that if it’s a different opinion to me you’re most probably wrong – JOKE!

Maybe Ed walker can read form after all
June 3, 2022 at 17:36 #1600273Concert hall stayed on very strongly into 4th to make me a small profit, wonder if they’d consider the leger for her
June 3, 2022 at 17:42 #1600275First two well clear, winner was really tough, impressive from a just turned 3 yr old and only 12 days since her Curragh run. Aidan just said on RUK she could go to the Arc.
Shame Kawida didn’t run into 4th place for us e/w backers but she did run on well.June 3, 2022 at 17:52 #1600278FF91 “Maybe Ed walker can read form after all”
June 3, 2022 at 18:47 #1600290A rare treat to see Dettori’s demeanour there. Such magnanimity in defeat. Nice fantasy from Richard Hoiles too saying the ‘upstart’ had been squeezed at the start.
June 3, 2022 at 19:10 #1600293Does it fit some narrative to keep saying the 2nd was lucky? Unless it’s assumed she would of been right up with the pace.
She stumbled but the early pace was slow and she was literally stride for stride with the winner after a couple of furlongs. You never saw frankie push her on to catch up after the start.
In the straight again she was literally even with the winner and they both made there move at the same time, she didn’t find as much as Frankie though more like.
Now for the next 7 weeks of rubbish if both are confirmed for the Irish oaks
Some folks are making out like she madeup 10 lengths and got beat on the nod😳
