“Anyway, Ed Walker is a trainer and not a punter.
Think you’re doing TRFers down. No TRFer said it was their own “thought process”, just a quote from the trainer. There may well have been good reasons why those TRFers backed Kawida given her odds, but her “form” with With The Moonlight was not one of them.”
A quick read of the thread before your post describing that line of thinking as stupid talk would’ve seen 2 people using that exact line of thinking as a reason to chance the 66/1 shot
Who was impeded and lost ground at a crucial stage, being squeezed between emily upjohn and concert hall and forced to switch would’ve gone damn close to landing the place money for their “stupid talk”
June 4, 2022 at 00:47 #1600382Agree with you that people can use ther own thought process FF. I raised
my reason for backing Kawida before the quote by Ed Walker was metioned.
I did raise the runs against With The Moonlight as part of my thought
process, although it wasn’t my only reason as I explained. It certainly
bore out against With The Moonlight. I knew there would be a reaction to
my original post, and there was as expected. I wasn’t going to respond at
all, I know what’s coming, but it’s funny that you can be wrong even when
you are right

Value Is EverythingJune 4, 2022 at 03:00 #1600394Just come back to this thread – no words, literally no words.
Well, other than the words that there is a forumite who positively enjoys starting arguments in empty rooms!
Anyway, I gather it’s been raining a lot at Epsom and I’m predicting Good to Soft, maybe even Soft, ground there tomorrow.
Changingoftheguard could be a beneficiary if I’m right.

But has diverted from what should be all about two wonderful horses so have deleted my part.Value Is EverythingJune 4, 2022 at 11:00 #1600432Nobody ever thinks there was anything wrong with what they said or wrote otherwise they wouldn’t have said or wrote it in the first place.
But I personally respect you for your unilateral decision to delete a few postings.
To summarise my view on a fascinating Oaks –
While Emily Upjohn lost about five lengths at the the start, I don’t think it actually cost her five lengths in the race, but she’s only been beaten a short-head and she’s a big filly still growing into her frame.
Tuesday hasn’t got the same physique and scope, but she’s a June foal who was only having her fifth race.
They can both improve – question is which one will improve more?
As for Frankie Dettori, I can’t blame him for the start, he wisely didn’t panic and gave Emily Upjohn time to get back into the race, but he’s come wider than the winner to deliver his challenge and I can understand the lack of nominations thus far for ride of the year for him off the TRF massive.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 4, 2022 at 11:06 #1600433There are very few top quality 10f-12f older horses around at the moment so I’d say both fillies will have a good chance of winning group 1s if placed well
And they may not even need to be that good in the grand scheme of things to do so as there aren’t many 120+ horses about
June 4, 2022 at 11:27 #1600439The older 10-12f horses (3 in particular) have been or have looked very good so far so it will be interesting.
June 4, 2022 at 11:35 #1600442Baaeed, Bay Bridge and Hukum are the obvious trio who have impressed me thus far.

And Baaeed will be staying at a mile until the juddmonte
There will be winnable group 1 races for those two fillies especially against their own sex
Could see Nashwa picking up something like a Nassau stakes too

And Mishriff.

to remove your posts as you think they detracted from a good race.
