That was an awful ride from frankie

Unlucky at the start but Jesus what was he doing sitting there motionless as Ryan got a few lengths ahead

Clearly by miles the best horse but that was a shocker

I supposed if he hustled her up she might have lost the head a bit.

Agree with FF91. Frankie thinks he has everything covered and is totally oblivious to Tuesday on the far side of the pack.

He did nothing wrong after the missed break for the next mile

You can’t rush up mid race

But Jesus he’s sitting there motionless as the eventual winner is scooting up the inside and being driven by Moore

And I never even backed her

Not convinced Emily Upjohn was handling the track. Tuesday looks like she was a more straightforward ride.

Perhaps fortunate, but so many dismissing a filly who is: a June foal, a full sister to an Oaks winner, had had only four runs in her life and had been placed in two Classics.

    She will only get better.

Cannot think of any derby or oaks winner from such a stumbling start. Maybe there has been but EU best horse in race by a street imo

One of those races if you run it again you’ll likely get a different outcome. An unlucky loser methinks….

Silly to criticise the ride there in my opinion, he was a short head away from what would have been touted as the best rides of all time!

It was the bad start that was all. She slipped.

Remember that Tuesday is a late foal, only turned 3 today, so will be interesting to see if Emily will be able to reverse it in the coming months.

The last two Epsom Classic winners drawn 1.
Soon the Trends guys will tell us you’ve got to be drawn 1 to win.

Well done Mike and Sam and others…tough as nails that filly is. Refused to yield an inch when the challenger looked her in the eyeball.

Nobody is “dismissing” the winner, Chezza. Merely pointing out that Dettori should have won even allowing for the stumble.

Its easy to say the start has cost Emilyupjohn but for all we know Tuesday might have just been waiting for company. I got her very wrong she was out in the lead for a long time and I thought she’d been headed at one stage, very brave, both look top fillies and it was the best Oaks I can remember entertainment wise probably in my lifetime. Kawida’s run a great race just missed out on the ew money but shes given us a great run all the same. WD winners, commiserations to any on Emilyupjohn at fancy prices.

I’ve been watching racing for over forty years, Ginge. I know a bad ride when I see one.
