Space blues @ 10/1 is the one I like especially if ground isn’t too firm
June 8, 2020 at 11:34 #1490161Ista, i like this as well. I was saying to pal the other day i think back to 6f, he could fill the void of Blue Point this year. i’ve joined you on the 10/1 before all of it has gone.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 8, 2020 at 11:54 #1490165I’ll take him on with a speedster most probably if ground is quick. 7f is his trip.
June 8, 2020 at 12:15 #1490166I see no reason by a stiff 6 at Ascot won’t suit. Put it this way, i doubt he’ll be 10/1 available!
He has run some very fast closing sectionals over 7f, so i’ll chance him.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 8, 2020 at 12:52 #1490171Not sure I can see a Dubawi win the DJ myself. I had a little bit of 16s on Khaadem for this, purely based on his Goodwood run and hopefully getting fast ground he needs. No idea if he’s even targeted here, but he’s blue on oddschecker.
Not had a deep look at this one yet though,
June 8, 2020 at 16:08 #1490184I’ll go for an outsider. Oxted 16-1.
Trainer quote.…
“If we go to the King’s Stand Stakes you have got to take on Battaash and although I think I have a beast, he is a real beast.”
“The way he finished off at Newmarket he will come on for the run and I think the six furlongs is the more sensible route to go.”June 8, 2020 at 20:10 #1490216Sceptical was very impressive at naas earlier
Hit the line hard over 5 1/2f
In a weak looking division youd think hed have half a chance
Skybet are still 14/1 which looks generous
June 9, 2020 at 16:52 #1490284again very open – i am taking chance on cape byron and khaadem ew
June 14, 2020 at 10:43 #1490638The Tin Man at 20-1 ew for me. I think that he’s still got another big run in him.
June 14, 2020 at 14:15 #1490670All in Shea Shea reckon given the horses age he should get the trip.
June 15, 2020 at 11:14 #1490757If, like me, you think Oxted has an each way squeak at 16s/20s just to let you know that, as of yesterday, this race is still his target. Jockey said “For a three-year-old to win the Portland at such a level off top weight, shows how good he is. He was only 80 per cent fit for the Abernant so hopefully he will come on for the race and we will see more in the Diamond Jubilee.”
June 15, 2020 at 11:40 #1490759Khaadem @ 11\1 is my 2nd bet
June 20, 2020 at 07:43 #1491408Ground is surely against Khaadem based on last year, I’m on 16s antipost though but don’t think he’ll win now.
I can’t understand the prices at all, what’s Sceptical doing as favourite? Ridiculous. Lightly raced horses that have won this in the past had miles better form than he has and it’s one good listed win, albeit a nice win. The other races my god he’s entitled to beat nags on all weather.
Fair play if he wins and becomes the next big sprinter, but those odds are not for me.
I don’t understand why Hello Youmzain isn’t fav here. Very progressive LY might even have won the Commonwealth Cup had he not missed the break, followed it up in the Haydock Group 1, beat Calyx before that earlier in the year. Champions day was a bog so we can draw a line through that. What’s not to like about his form? He should be fav for me.
The other I will take a chance on because he’s been gelded over the winter is dream of dreams. A horse that divides opinion but sir M S must still see something in him and his s second last year is strong form of he can reproduce it. I wouldn’t have backed him had he not been gelded but I will give him one last chance.
Hello Youmzain 5/1
Dream of Dreams 8/1June 20, 2020 at 10:51 #1491443Wrong race for sceptical, will just be watching because of it.
June 20, 2020 at 11:39 #1491458He seems a little on the drift this morning, but I’m struggling to see past Sceptical in
this. Unlike most of the fancied runners, his fitness is guaranteed having run out a cosy
winner at Naas earlier this month, and he is clearly in very good form. The booking of
frankie doesn’t do anything to dampen my enthusiasm. Still 7/2 in a place,
I’d be surprised if he doesn’t go off nearer 2/1.June 20, 2020 at 11:56 #1491462I backed one master a few days ago but the ground will likely be closer to Gd/firm than GD/soft so may as well tear up that slip
Dont really fancy anything else so will just leave it at that
June 20, 2020 at 12:51 #1491478Sceptical ew for me in a race that is there for the taking.
