Had a spare few quid in my account after campanelle obliging so had it on shine so bright
Just think he is interesting dropped back to 6f at a big price
June 20, 2020 at 14:24 #1491500Think Sceptical is a poor price. It’s a poor race but he’s beat very little + Irish sprinters are poor.
Think Hello Youmzain should be fav.
Also like the look of Shine So Bright at a reasonable price. Has some strong form in there.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 20, 2020 at 15:43 #1491516Better at 5f, hes a standout on the irish angle jack, did well to finish where he did on him for me.

June 20, 2020 at 15:47 #1491518He ran better than i expected anyway. He was far too short at the price he was! Great story + great buy though!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 21, 2020 at 01:10 #1491544Definitely too short, proper group 1 5f sprinter to my eye, “just” done for stamina today…
June 21, 2020 at 11:03 #1491560Denis Hogan has his sights set on the Darley July Cup for Sceptical after the four-year-old finished a close third in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The trainer was full of praise for Sceptical following Saturday’s performance on his first foray in Group company, and expects him to be even better when encountering a firmer surface.
Of Sceptical’s performance in the race, Hogan added: “He ran his heart out. Frankie was critical of himself for committing too soon but I wasn’t. We just got outstayed on dead ground by hardened campaigners, which we are not. I think we can come forward again.”
“We were a bit unlucky with the weather this week but I’m delighted with the horse and proud of him.”
