Wait, I misunderstood.
To close my position on Septimus I have to lay off 30 pts, I don’t hedge by laying off 100.
So, I’m changing that to:
"lay septimus at 6.2 for 30 points"
That gives me (25 – 6.2) * 30 = +564 points, regardless of the result in the race.
Right?
