Yes it’s not going to plan Darren and I’m kicking myself for not backing Wallace who
I had in the Scottish Open. I thought he was too short at 12/1 and I’d keep an eye
to see if he dropped a shot or 2 and drifted out. He started birdie, birdie, birdie

I’ve got no chance in the Scottish Championship, I don’t think any of us do, and I’m
not a lot better off in the states. Munoz is my closest at 8 under and 7 off the lead.
I suppose he has an outside chance of a place at 125/1 which wouldn’t be a bad result.

Raymo your nearest, Justin Thomas, is 10 under and 5 off the lead. There’s an outside
chance that he might have one of his wonder rounds so he’s not dead yet.

Looks like you’re depending on the tennis today Darren, very best of luck there mate :good:

Just for a bit of interest in the Scottish later today, I’ve stuck a few quid
on Adrian Otaegui at 10/1 with Paddy Power. Wallace will most likely win, but
is unbackable at 4/11. Good luck if either of you have a last throw of the dice
    later today :good:

Big chance for you Graham with Otaegui Good Luck with him but he is in front as I type :good: :good:

In the states am gutted about Harry Higgs finishing with three bogeys in the last four holes Grrrrrrrrrr !! he would have been on ten under with JT if he had of parred them!

We have a few simmering under but need a wonder round from someone to win it :good:

JANNICK SINNER 9/1 ATP Indoors Cologne

Back to back events in Cologne doubt Felix the cat be here after final defeat today Zverev a chance of 2wins in a row but instead gone for a Sinner.Could took a set off Nadal in semi final of French open instead lost 3-0 when serving for 1st set.Hurcatz up 1st be a lively opener but if win that than likely get Shapolov in last 8 be tough but he in form and a meeting with Zverev not fear him after beat him at French open.

UGO HUMBERT 20/1 ATP European open

Was beat in semi finals here last year by Murray lost in 3sets but he a fine player in weaker half of draw if win opener than Careno Busta who done well in slams this year but indoors not at that level if beat him then likely Kchanaov other big seed worry about is good enough beat him in top half most big names are like Raonic and Goffin.

KAROLINA MUCHOVA 25/1 WTA Ostrava open

Has Zhang up 1st but feel beat her then either Amsinova or Mertens that be tougher but that match could go to 3sets and Muchova could take on a tired foe Azarenka in last 8 tough but in her homeland she can go well here could beat in form belrussian.

    COCO GAUFF 25/1

In other half of draw she had to qualify but did it in the end got Sinikova then Sabalenka the teen starlet loves hardcourts and she not be scared any of rivals may play this week every chance of deep run.

Lastly hills only firm got a price on so if any others put her in market i get that price

Well done Darren with Rublev, 7/1 is a nice winner :good:

Thanks Raymo, I only saw them tee off in the Scottish today before we went garden
shed hunting. I got back after it was all over and was half resigned to finding
that Wallace had won, but what a round Otaegui had to win quite easily in the end :yahoo:

That at least pays for the door of my shed lol :good:

Bets for Golf this week start at Zozo championship.Course from 2000 to 2013 hero challenge event at Sheridian golf course.

    TIGER WOODS 40/1

Won this event last year in Japan but event now held at this venue where he won 5times lost a playoff last time here in 2013.Right now got 82 PGA Tour wins tied with Sam Snead not a better venue than here for him break this record.

    COLIN MORIKAWA 25/1

A Jack Nicklaus layout it is this week and Muirfield village a course look at this guy won at that venue in Workday open. And while did disapoint at weekend he someone can bounce back here.

    JOAQUIN NIEMANN 50/1

Another player done well at Muirfield when was 54hole leader on debut since then shown up well in recent events like BMW Open also at CJ Cup strong finish at weekend suggest a bold run on the cards.

    JORDAN SPEITH 100/1

Has form on Nicklaus courses and issue with him is ball striking not been the best and when in contention at weekends not able to sustain it.However with players like Kokrak,Cink,Swafford all ending droughts could be the week where jumping Jordan jumps for joy on sunday.

    Italian open

    VICTOR PEREZ 14/1

Doubts over Wallace cope after loss at weekend and this a course no form go on and this frenchman was 2nd to Hatton at Wentworth where on debut to finish 2nd very good by him this not a deep field every chance can win again on tour.

    ANTOINE ROZNER 50/1

Has decent form in Italy was 4th in challenge tour event and he accurate enough for him do well here tracks here not about power and been in good form over last month 3rd in Spain.

    THOBJORN OLESEN 55/1

Has issues off the course but if stay with Golf he loves playing in Italy won event in 2018 also won Siclian open in 2012 was 2nd in Italy in 2011 well.Form been mixed to look like playing well then few bad shots come in his game.Return to this country could be what is needed get form back.

    ADRIAN MERONK 80/1

Young player from Poland who been showing eyecatching form over the last few months started strong last week before fading away. Was 10th in Irish open 6th in Celtic classic to every chance doing better here to.

    FRANCESCO LAPORTA 200/1

Last 2years in Italy on European tour been 7th he now a European tour playing with full rights so should be comfy in coming back home and at big prices could outrun those odds

    Good luck guys this week

Also got Victor Perez 14/1 Tiger Woods 40/1 win double to

Thank u BigG on congrats on Rublev to

A case of frustration in the CJ Cup for me four players in contention for places and they end up 11th 12th 21st and 28th. Close but no cigar and in Scotland I had 14th and 16th too!!

I see Graham you were close too with your three finishing 6th 9th and 12th !! Bad luck mate with just the one placed. At least you had the Spaniard winning for you though :good: :good:

Cheers Raymo, quite chuffed with Otaegui and I did get a decent E/W
with Niemann, but just a pity that Munoz couldn’t have got another
birdie he would have been very worthwhile at 125/1.

    Italian Open

Guido Migliozzi 50/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

He’s had a couple of weeks off after his poor showing in the BMW PGA Championship,
hopefully he’s been working on his game which wasn’t too bad last month in the
Andaluciam Masters where he finished T6. He’s on his home ground and hopefully
    that will have him focussed.

Maverick Antcliff 80/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

Johnny Cash’s a boy called Sue was named by his dad who knew he wouldn’t be there
and the ensuing ridicule would force him to “get tough or die”. Well this guy must
be tough as steel growing up with that name. More importantly he’s also a pretty
decent player as his T3 in last month’s Irish Open clearly showed. He had an off
day in the 3rd round of the Scottish Open last time out with a 75, but his other 3
were very decent, 69, 70 and 68 for T36. I think he has a shout in this field with
not too many world beaters in attendance.

Adrian Meronk 85/1 (80/1 1st round leader market)

I’ve put him up a couple of times recently, I think he’s good enough to win one of these.
Darren’s already made the case for Meronk, and I go along with that.

I’ll get my bit typed up for the Zozo in a bit, I’ve already got my bets on. We could
do with a winner this week guys :good:

    J CAMPILLO 40/1
    G FERNANDEZ CASTANO 175/1

    ZOZO CHAMPS

    H ENGLISH 35/1
    P CASEY 70/1

    Zozo Championship

    Xander Shauffele11/1 (20/1 1st round leader market)

I’m not too keen on players as short as this normally, but I can’t see him
hitting the crossbar for much longer. He’s playing the most consitant top
golf of anyone at the moment. he’s been runner up 4 times in the last year
and his last 2 were 5th in the US Open and 2nd in the CJ Cup, where he played
a great final round 66 only to be outdone by an even more brilliant 64 from
Jason Kokrak. If you had said at the start of the round that Xander would
post a 66, I’d have had the mortgage (if I had one) on it.

    Joaquin Niemann 40/1 (35/1 1st round leader)

He’s only been on the tour for 2 years and is still 21, and yet he seems to have been
around for longer as he’s been regularly in contention. His last 3 were T23 at the
US Open, T13 at the Shriners, and 6th in last week’s CJ Cup, where he was also joint
leader of greens in regulation. His golf is rock solid at the moment and I think he
    has a decent chance here.

Sebastian Munoz 70/1 (55/1 1st round leader market)

I’ve been banging on about Sebastian for a while now, I keep saying the bookies have
got his odds all wrong and that they would pay for it. Well they nearly paid for it
last week in the CJ Cup where he fell just outside the money in 9th at 125/1. They
haven’t gone qone quite as crazy this week, they’re obviously learning, but he’s still
    too big at 70/1.

Harry Higgs 150/1 (100/1 1st round leader market)

Harry has been playing pro for 6 years, but only got his chance to play with the big
boys relatively recently and he’s not done a bad job. Outright runner up in the Safeway
Open, and although he missed the cut at the Shriners next time out, he was a tad unlucky
to go out with a pair of 68s. Just outside the top 20 last week at the CJ Cup (T21) shows
he’s well capable of mixing it with his more illustrious colleagues. He might fall just
short again, but at 150/1 I’m well willing to give him a chance.

That’s me for this week guys, let’s hope for some black type between us :good:

Stick that in your pipe bookies B-) I said they got his odds wrong last week at 125/1,
and he just fell short in 9th, but what a round today, 8 under par and outright 1st round
leader at 55/1 :yahoo: I hope he can keep it up and romp home at 70/1, but he’s already
paid his way this week. What price next week bookies

Thanks Raymo, I’m well chuffed he came good. Yes your 4 are well in there,
2 at 6 under and 2 at 3 under. A good round tomorrow for any of them could
have them right up there :good: Darren has a couple under par, Niemann and
Morikawa, they need a bit more from 1 under but both can shoot low. Good
    luck guys :good:

Well done BigG on Munoz 1st round leader winner

Best hope in golf is Meronk in italy still quite a bit behind

Cheers Darren, yes you and me both are hoping Meronk can get something out of the
Italian Open for us. He had a good round 66 today, but it still leaves him 7 off
the lead. I think the best we can hope for is a place there.

Raymo I’m glad to see you are well in the hunt going into the final round over in
the States with Griffin 2 off the lead and Palmer 3 off. You must be pretty happy
with that. I’ve got Munoz still hanging about there at 16 under, I hope one of ours
can get the job done, although Thomas and Rahm will be a couple of tough nuts to crack.
    Best of luck mate :good:
