We also know TNL will get around and attack that hill …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 20, 2026 at 19:53 #1755407Wow that was unbelievable
No more jumps for CH he’s a natural flat racer and a beautiful mover.
He was so calm going into the stalls and Oisin the perfect jockey for him.
Please don’t take him to Cheltenham.
❤️ JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 20, 2026 at 19:53 #1755408If Willie trained this horse, he’d have won multiple Group 1’s on the flat.
Willie doesn’t mind leaving the country.
February 20, 2026 at 19:54 #1755409GM23 – Take your point. But I think a 1m 4f flat horse is just what you need for Melbourne. It’s nothing like our 2 mile flat races. Most winners of the race aren’t out and out stayers.
Personally think he’d love it.February 20, 2026 at 19:55 #1755410We also know TNL will get around and attack that hill …
Don’t agree with that, HDLG. The International was run at a silly pace and they only jumped the last one at proper G1 pace.
February 20, 2026 at 19:55 #1755411“If TNL is joint fav, you know it’s a very winnable G1 race.”
What I have said all along – and certain people on this forum have twisted – is that Constitution Hill has the innate ability to trounce anything in this year’s Champion Hurdle. There are two questions: firstly, how much of that ability does he retain and, secondly, can he still jump? This evening’s performance goes some way towards answering the first of those questions but does nothing to address the second.
February 20, 2026 at 19:56 #1755412Easy everyone , give him a few more runs on the flat no need to jump straight into a world heavyweight bout
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 20, 2026 at 19:56 #1755413Confidence is a wonderful thing HDLG. But you were being very disparaging about the horse in general. Saying he was completely gone at the game and his head was fried.
I for one hope he turns up in the champion hurdle and rams your words down your throat! If he wins that would you be gracious enough to congratulate him?
February 20, 2026 at 19:56 #1755414No more jumps for CH he’s a natural flat racer and a beautiful mover.
It was just a Maiden, but his first run after that Newcastle fall and he really looked in love with the game. Nico should never again sit on him and why not go the new path?
February 20, 2026 at 19:58 #1755415Sigh Glad he can’t jump , the last time he did he finished 5th , why oh why are people trying to forget facts , we know he can’t jump that’s why we are here tonight …

February 20, 2026 at 20:00 #1755417Its also a 4yo+ novice race tonight. Lots of that field unraced on the flat. Lots of them probably not very good to be eligible at the age of 4. Talk of Melbourne Cups, Ebors, Group 1s at the age of 9 is wild
February 20, 2026 at 20:00 #1755418It was just very enjoyable to see the horse run so confidently this eve. He seemed at ease. Lovely
February 20, 2026 at 20:01 #1755419Cider I never said his head was fried , Ive stated he can’t jump anymore and the last time he finished he went out like a light in Ireland , both statements are factual , I’ve never said he wasn’t a talented horse , calm down and have a brew

February 20, 2026 at 20:01 #1755420I agree with GM23 – and I said after both the Supreme & Champion hurdle wins, he should have been tried on the Flat. It’s the pinnacle, more prestige, more money, international, etc
Any jumps horse that show so much speed & ability should always be tried on the Flat…..but we know there is insularity in jumps racing – and some have a chip on their shoulder about it.
February 20, 2026 at 20:01 #1755421Interesting re Melbourne Cup Dubacilla. What sort of weight might he get? Bit of a potential nightmare for the handicapper!
February 20, 2026 at 20:02 #1755422Nico should’ve been off him long ago Ruby. He’s a bag of nerves when onboard CH and that transfers to the horse.
February 20, 2026 at 20:02 #1755423What can’t be argued tonight is that he proved he still wanted to be a racehorse
