I’m in 2 minds to watch the Southwell shitshow , I love my racing but I’m scunnered and I mean scunnered with this , if the Hill goes the festival it’s all ITV will talk about and that’s wrong

January 24, 2026 at 17:20 #1751715That Southwell race night is a circus act. They’ve reduced the great Constitution Hill to a meme by this stage.
January 24, 2026 at 17:24 #1751717Yep , if you thought he didn’t like hurdles wait till he sees the pissed up students , George Best played his last game for Bournemouth in 83 at a fat pissed up 36 … This is the hills Bournemouth

January 24, 2026 at 19:30 #1751742I like to think that taking CH back to the Flat might, theoretically, work like a factory reset/restore point so to speak. Perhaps this could plant a seed in the horse’s mind to, maybe, approach hurdles the way he did when he first made the transition from Flat to Jumps…
January 24, 2026 at 19:43 #1751743He’ll be wondering why he’s running in sand in front of pissed/coked up students …

January 25, 2026 at 15:35 #1751848The Hill now 5/6s for the Champion , either some idiots taking him or the homecare taking the Michael

January 25, 2026 at 17:08 #1751862I wonder if that is 5/6s to actually jump around safely

I guess they could always hope for plenty of rain before the Tuesday to make the ground heavy to where they have to bypass some hurdles (due to false ground or you know….holes in the ground) and then on the day hope for a bright sunny day so they have to remove even more of the hurdles so it turns into more of a 2m hybrid flat/hurdle race.
January 25, 2026 at 17:16 #1751865Not if he empties like Ireland , let’s be brutal that price is an absolute joke , shameful

January 25, 2026 at 17:16 #1751866The mystery is that Constitution Hill apparently schools brilliantly at home, or so connections keep reporting. If that is true, the logical conclusion must be that there is a lack of communication between de Boinville and the horse on race days – and that would lead to the replacement of de Boinville being the next step.
January 25, 2026 at 17:17 #1751867He fell schooling ..with Nico

January 25, 2026 at 17:29 #1751869Plus I very much doubt that Nico is asking him up off a long stride at home like he would do in a race situation – horse issue not a jockey one.
January 25, 2026 at 17:29 #1751870Is that on You Tube HDLG?
January 28, 2026 at 15:26 #1752247Just seen photos on Facebook of constitution Hill doing stalls test. Not sure who the other is with him as when Ch strides out the other only looks like a pony in size and stood still
