Fist’s views on the Betfair Chase seem remarkably similar to mine.
    Great minds think alike?

Either that or you copied him…… :-)

Fist tipped second favourite Native River before me, Nathan.
I spoke about the similarities between Might Bite’s King George, Gold Cup and Betfair Chase performances – questioning the horse’s temperament – before Fist. :good:

I’ll let you off this time Ginge/Fist, but please don’t do it again mate. Especially on a thread entitled ‘forum cliques’.

I think I should be made a moderator myself, or just given some special powers that involve no work at all, but I can ban people for a week. My trigger finger would be itchy whenever I saw any sign of a clique.

If you did not reply to my posts, year ban… Standard.

    Agreed 007. :good:
To start a Thread like this and not comment on any of the replies is a bit worrying, it’s like throwing a party and staying outside looking in the window

I don’t find the forum cliquey. All 248 of my monikers have been received well.

    Dear Board,

I don’t want to belong to any clique that would have me as a member

I find this forum to have considerably less cliques than others, but they are there. There are threads on here that are far too cliquey, involving the usual culprits, but if that kind of thing gets to you, just avoid. It works for me.

I’ve never understood the whole welcoming comments from some. It’s a forum on the internet, what kind of welcome are you looking for, maybe Banners, or Bunting, or a hug?

Less a ”clique” more a praetorian guard who police the forum opposing anyone who suggests that the sport might be corrupt. They’re on a mission. The term ”racing ” is a monumental misnomer in this day and age when losing guarantees a profit to connections.

The funniest example of cliques is when posters are addressed by their “real” names rather than their monikers so that others have no idea who the fck is addressing who

    Nick talks to Arthur etc

What they are really indicating is that they are billynomates with imaginary friends

    Hi Clive

I’m the Urban Spaceman, will you be my friend?

The warbling of Nick and Arthur losing their marbles is terrific entertainment

    chit-chat-click-clack-cluck-clique-article 50-will of the people-backstop-take back control-hard border-ever decreasing circles-clip-clop-crap

    Going well innit?
