Hey Guys<br>After a very enjoyable festival(not that i won anything) i was amazed at some of the bets that were placed on the track. I just returned from Cheltenham and was watching the racing that i had recorded and heard that there was a number of huge bets placed with Chron~cle £100,000 on Detroit City, £100,000 on Kauto Star, £100,000 on Exotic Dancer.
Are these stories true?? And was just woundering if anyone seen any large bets placed the max bet i seen was £2,000 on Fair Along Poor Fella. It really interests me to watch these bookmakers in action

In fact it used to be livelier i think. Big players likely to be in front of their laptops these days

Biggest cash bet I’ve seen placed when on course was a 9000/4000 laid by John Ridley in York tatts some years ago.
